This years squad doesnt score enough to cover any turnover mistakes and penalties. (see Genny game) Our opponents just have to be patient it seems.

very good point,in the past a bad goal/turnover was answered with a swift 2 or 3 in return.that said I did like the way we/Gallati scored the other night right after cortland scored near the end of the period,maybe something to hang our hats on??

Also, Oswego doesn't seem to be able to force teams into making mistakes and turning the puck over. And when teams do cough it up they either give it right back or can't finish the chance they get. Unfortunately they don't have the discipline, defense or goaltending to win many 1-0 or 2-1 games.

Goalie Q, who starts. I think Adrian starts against Plattsburgh and unless he wins, we see see Z against Potsdam. I would do this because andrian has not faced any of the top teams this year, give him this test. Z has been better this year but hasn't beat any good teams, not all his fault of course. Really loses to Plattsburgh would be no shock at this point, the Potsdam is the key game. Andrian last chance to prove himself this year.

Adrian should have gotten at least a tie with St. Thomas but the team let him down pretty bad. He did give up a softy in that one but everyone does from time to time. Z has been his best in games where he came back after missing a start, so I would say go with him against Plattsburgh. I think he is the man in the playoffs simply because the team knows they can win the SUNYAC with him as they have done it once before.

No clear cut starter the whole season,this makes for instability I think,some may say it makes for competition as well,good arguements for both but I like the clear cut starter with a short rope.This will be a close 1 goal game or a Platty 4+ game,dont see oz winning by more than 1.Lets hope we have a good showing and build some confidence for the end run of the season.

The end of that game epitomized the season for Oswego. Lazy play, bad passing, and a horrible turnover right in front of our own net with 2 seconds left in OT. I'm sure Eddie had a few things to say in the locker room.

Yes, here we are again. Frustrated to no end that this happened, again. We held our own through 3 and thennnnnnnnnn..... But as said, this should not be a surprise for anyone following this season. So, shake it off and take it to the Bears tonight. Go Lakers.

I was at game. Lots of drama. I can,t talk about the last 10 minutes, it,s still to soon. The linesman and refs seemed to struglgle. I'm sure the players don't feel this way but I was happy with the effort, I feared a blowout loss. The game that matters is tonight. If Barton plays we should win tonight a win tonight and this will be a successful weekend

Upon further review and after a day to digest:

We played a great, solid game for 64 minutes and 57 seconds against the #3 team in the country. That says a lot. Dead even at that point, but great teams find a way to win. Terrible way to end it, but it was a great effort that shows the potential of this team.

Woulda, shoulda, coulda...

While a tough loss against the Cards, in the end it still was a meaningless game as far as the NCAAs go (other than SUNYAC seeding). Win or loose we still have to win the SUNYAC to get an invite.

There aren't any shows happening on the shores of Lake Ontario. Men or Women. The men just seem so out of sync and almost disinterested at times. Kenny Neil is about the only guy that seems to be on every game and then even he ends up trying to do too much.

The come out of the gate good and create chances but don't put them away and get frustrated. Then they start making mistakes and it costs them games.

Didn't look that way to my eyes, yes we sniped one with 2.4 seconds on the clock, but it was in no way a disinterested team - and not to take anything away from Potsdam, but how much was left in Oswego's tank (and Cortland against Plattsburgh for that matter), it ain't over for Oswego - until it is over.

Honestly the way the Lakers came out, I thought we were gonna get blown out of the rink. They took it to the Bears in the 1st period. The Bears carried most of the play in the 2nd but didn't capitalize. The 3rd IMO was even. We just buried our chances.

Blown opportunity to get this turned around. I got to watch last nights game as I felt going into the 3rd we were skating on borrowed time. Give credit to Potsdam. They were patient, and their fans were into it. Another Laker penalty, another PPG and we are walking home. This weekend we showed we are a 4th or 5th place team in the SUNYAC. Still waiting for the green and gold to find their way. Clock is ticking fellas. Go Lakers.
