I would have to think that going 4x4 for 5 minutes, then 3x3 for five more would decide an awful lot of games that currently end up as a tie.

I think in the AHL last season they went 4x4 for 3 minutes, then 3x3 for 4 minutes (or something similar), then the shootout. I guess they cut down on shootouts by about 75% using this format.

The Primelink OT was 7 minutes. 4 X 4 for 4 minutes then 3 X 3 for the remaining time after the first whistle after the 4 minute mark

I'd like to see them go to 3x3 for five minutes...I have a feeling that would decide most games.

IMO, the Days Inn (has a pool) is as low as I would recommend (should be < $75 on a Friday night), I like La Quinta (has a pool and hot tub) vs Microtel at about the same price which doesn't (should be < $80 on a Friday night), if cost is not an issue, I'd go with Hampton Inn (has a pool) about $120 a night.

Unless it has changed, the teams usually stay at Comfort Inn. But as Norm said, the Days Inn here is a great deal for the money.. My relatives just stayed there this weekend and said it was very clean, comfortable and had a great breakfast included. Was about $68.00 per night with their AAA discount.

I have seen team buses at Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn . Hampton is nicer and is very close to UNO Chicago Grill for food.

They've also stayed at LaQuinta a time or two...had breakfast with them a few years back...

Hope you like standing lol most of the seats are taken. A few single seats scattered around the rink and some rail spots.... It looks more of the visiting section is gone which makes me wonder if they blocked off a group for Laker fans (family) tickets. But before we all get upset, no one has been turned away. You might have to stand 2 deep on the rail, but no one has been turned away. Also, once into the first period (not saying its right) but people go down into the empty seats...

There are a lot of "fair weather" (aka Snow Birds) season ticket holders, just be prepared to switch seats.

It seems Z has been getting the nod for the big ones. Hulshof, Neil, Galati all need to log points. D ? The questions remain....

agree I think we see zman but would like to see Iggy,may give the team a spark.......as far as pts yes thats the problem,those mentioned had better score or we are in for it:eek:,dismal secondary scoring this yr . I also think we had not visit the sin bin to much

This years squad doesnt score enough to cover any turnover mistakes and penalties. (see Genny game) Our opponents just have to be patient it seems.
