Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

UW 1- UND 0 after two periods

UND played better that period.

although by the end of the period SOG were 28-8

Menke almost just tied it for UND - hit the post.

BC is absolutely blowing the doors off Maine, I have no idea who is tallying shots at Alfond but they are inaccurate.

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

Nurse gets the game winner at 2:20 into OT. 2-1 Badgers final.

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

RMU outshot PSU 42-21. Penn State showing lots of improvement in the W-L column this year. I would expect them to steadily improve over the next few years; new facilities and the University draw should make PSU attractive to recruits. On the other hand...what is going Robert Morris this year?!

The junior class (the inaugural D-1 class) has had basically a free ride for two years, but the nine new players this year came to play, so ice time isn't automatic anymore. They're way ahead of where they were two years ago. Robert Morris must have lost some good ones to graduation - they used to be the only ones giving Mercyhurst anything to think about.

RPI leads Brown 5-0, early in the second period:eek:

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

RPI leading Brown 6-0 after 2 periods. Can we save a few goals for the game against Yale tomorrow?

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

Shots are 45-13 Badgers, but it's 1-1 on the scoreboard with less than 3 minutes to go in regulation.

UW owned all the first period and third period, the 2nd period was a little even. It would have been a shame for UW to lose that game after playing so well. The game tier occured when UW's 6th D allowed a sue player to get the corner on a drive to the net and in the sunsequent scramble it went in.

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

Very sloppy game in Troy: RPI scores 7 goals then Brown comes back with 5. Final is 7-5 RPI.
