2-0 Gophers early in the second. Brandt with two assists and Menefee with a goal to help the Fightin' Tony's.

Edit: Scoring change on the second goal, so make that two for Menefee.
I think you were right the first time. Sure looked like McMillen to me.

That was a far more dominant period.

Gophers win 5-2.

With the amount of puck possession the Gophers had the score differential should have been way more than 3. Too many near misses and blown chances - won't be able to get away with that against the top teams.

After two periods of play it's:
UND 2, SCSU 1
Shots are 27-9

Final:
North Dakota 3, St. Cloud State 1

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

Harvard and Dartmouth tied at 1 after the first. Harvard looks like the better team and has had some chances in transition, but at even strength they are really struggling to get the puck off the boards once they're set up in the zone. Some of that is Dartmouth contesting everything but Harvard can't even start the Cycle to Nowhere; it just gets bounced around on the wall for a while until Harvard shoots it towards the net where it's easily picked off.

The Crimson goal was on the power play. Dartmouth's was on a bad rebound from Maschmeyer.

Harvard up 2-1 after two. They looked a lot better in that period and generated some offense by keeping Dartmouth trapped in their own zone along the boards long enough to tire them out. Harvard looks a lot bigger and a lot stronger and it's starting to tell.
