Bemidji State defeats UMD 4-1, empty net goal with 18 seconds to go

Brittni Mowat stops 31 of 32

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

UMD dominating BSU in SOG in 3rd period but can't beat Mowat.

BSU 4 - UMD 1 final with an empty netter in the last minute.

BSU video access $30/mo! Rather stiff, no?

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

Phoebe Staenz finally scores her 1st goal of the year.

Quinnipiac beats Yale 5-2

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

Backstopped by Brittany Mowat’s 31 save performance Bemidji State's Beavers dropped the Duluth Bulldogs this afternoon 4-1. The Bulldog’s Brigette Lacquette opened the scoring at 6:30 of the first period but Duluth was unable to solve Mowat again. It sounded like the Beavers did their usual outstanding job of blocking shots and smothering rebounds. The Beaver’s got goals from Billic, Grenier and Miller with Togus hitting an empty netter to seal the win. This is only the 5th win for BSU against UMD.

10-2 BC is your final over Harvard.

Let's all have a moment of silence for the Crimson.

WOW!!! Either BC is over the top unbelievable (which I'm sure they are) and/or Harvard has been a little (lot) over rated!! This certainly is making a statement!

End of 2: Clarkson outshooting UCONN 30-8 but of coarse losing 1-0 :( .

The Harvard team has too much talent for this kind of a result. Starting to seriously question the coaching.

The Badgers let UNH keep it close for two periods, but have slammed the door in the third. Now 4-0 with 11 minutes to go.

OSU leads RMU 5-0 after two periods.

Wisconsin added one more... Badgers 5, Wildcats 0.

RMU got a shorty to avoid being shut out... Buckeyes 5, Colonials 1.

Having been at the game, I would not say that "The Badgers let UNH keep it close for two periods". I sat With the good Mr. Ammerman for the first period, and we were both quite impressed with UNH's determination to close Wisco down. I don't dispute the Badgers as being the better team, but the Wildcats did not let Wisco take the game easily. They played 40 minutes of hockey that we were pleased to see, but broke down in the 3rd. I don't think UNH can match Wisco offensively, but Vilma Vaattovaara will make any team work.

I asked this question over in the Harvard thread, but maybe it's better over here: Having seen Wisco v UNH and BC v UNH, any thoughts on Wisco v BC?

Gophers and Tigers scoreless after the 1st in Princeton.

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

2-0 UW over UNH after 1, sog 19-4 UW. That's what I was hoping to see, well hear, in the first period.
