my first job i figured i needed X to live. i ask for X + a bit to negotiate. i got X + a - b offered finally and it was fair to me. couple months in i talked to a couple guys who were recently hired and they got more than me because they asked for more and got it. my fault. i had to wait to get a raise after a year. those guys probably went and asked for more than that. happens.

now if your mom was making X and there were 6 other workers, all men, with different starts and beginning salaries and such making X ++.. if it was designed to pay them more than her that blows and is wrong. if it was because they all came in and asked for more and got it and she didn't ask until she found out (like i did) that's a life lesson.

i'm not sure how to read "the minimum" part there... was this like a union shop where the minimum wage was $15/hr for men and she was making $13 or something? that falls under the blows/wrong/bull$hit. but i don't want to assume what 'minimum' means though.

Obama really doesn't want Romney to mention things from earlier in the debate. And his smiling and hoping the moderator bails him out makes him seem nervous and scared of answering a direct question.

He still hasn't answered about why he didn't propose the legislation he promised, despite having two opportunities and saying that he would.

Obama is dominating but Romney just threw a hail mary haymaker that connected on that foreign investment exchange. Obama took it on the chin there.

Another reason I won't vote for either of them: Coming into this country illegally IS A CRIME! You come in the wrong way, you get thrown out. No ifs, ands, or buts.

My chem E class had as many women as men. Our engineering group has at least seven women and five men. And our supervisor is a woman as well. Not even joking, my supervior made a joke today saying we should probably hire another guy to help even things out. :D

While I tend to agree with Obama, that's a bad answer politically.

Exactly why the government wants to drug everyone: It's a way to call people mentally ill and get around the second amendment. Chemical warfare, if you ask me.
