Just as it is not "Islamophobia" if they're actually trying to kill you, neither is it "racism" to call a spade a spade when referring to these latent heterosexual racist a*shats.

"Hey, where the white women at?" "You want freedom, you gonna have to kill some crackers."

Okay.
*snip*

So you're using the KKK to justify black racism when, despite it's limited scope, it's just as bad?

Unless you're pointing out that the KKK and the Black Panthers are equally extreme and racist. That I won't disagree with.

Latter. And that Old Pio is racist.

Not too sure how you got the first since the image is mocking the KKK for being ****tards. And being a ****tard is never acceptable.

John Kass of the Tribune says the Solyndra scandal is just like a typical Chicago scandal, only "with more zeroes."

How many zeroes do you need before somebody falls on their sword? I predict that some mid level OMB GS-14/15 is going to be transferred / reassigned / fired and some GS-12/13 is going to be pilloried on the East Lawn.

If any "Senior Administration Official" walks, it will be a short one up the block to K Street.

It's Howard Baker's old Watergate question isn't it? What did the president know and when did he know it? The principal behind Solyndra, as I understand it, is a big deal Democratic money man from Oklahoma. And representatives of the company paid 20 visits to the WH. It's gonna be hard to claim that kind of access got you only to the deputy chief of looking out the window. Plus, there are evidently all sorts of e-mails where lower level types in OMB were raising red flags about the fiscal solvency of this company. Yet, they went right ahead and gave 'em half a billion (they were also asking for an additional 400 million). And subsequently restructured the loan with the principals of the company moving ahead of the taxpayer for reimbursement if the deal went bust. Well, why would the principals want to do that, unless they knew what was coming.

Somebody for sure is going to have to fall on his sword. Maybe several somebodys. Remember Admiral John Poindexter? He took the fall for Iran Contra.

About that fiscal solvency thing -- how much money have we given some tip pot dictator? :D

Over the years, plenty. But to me that's comparing apples to oranges. You don't expect to get your money back with foreign aid. There were evidently plenty of red flags that Solyndra was a bad investment and tax payer money shouldn't be poured into it. And it looks like normal safeguards were ignored so Deadmeat could make a speech and tout his green jobs initiative. I'd rather have the half a billion.

This was ostensibly a profit making venture, not a government. And it looks like normal safeguards were ignored so Deadmeat could make a speech and tout his green jobs initiative. I hate to agree with you. Now Obama should own up to making a bad deal. Even if he didn't know of it, it's on his watch. Then he should ask some of our war contractors for the difference. We all know they were given (or stole depending on view point) hundreds of billions over the last decade. Heck they probably have it sitting in cash getting ready to burn for a bonfire.

This could turn out to be yet another validation of the axiom that the coverup is worse than the "crime." Now if the trail leads to some collusion between Deadmeat and his big donor at Solyndra to use public money to help him get out from under a bad business deal, then we're talking impeachable offense. But that's highly unlikely.

MMMM, defense contractor smores.

Not going to meet the standards of "high crimes and misdemeanors" unless you can point to an obvious, direct bribe in exchange for favors.

At some point to the higher ups in the Dem party walk over to the WH with a tape of LBJ's 3/31/68 speech?

Is there an echo in here?

I'm sure you'll hear cries for impeachment on derp radio by Monday. That's the traditional Republican response to losing an election. :)
