Doesn't sound like a place I'd like to live. Must be paradise to you though.
maybe not but we buy/use stuff produced there every day, stuff that makes modern life live able, someone has to produce it or.....

Did you read today's postings?

Yeah, like you couldn't cherry pick some statistics from any state to make the case that it's a h*ll on earth. And I'm especially convinced by anything that whiney libtard Paul Krugman says. I lived in Texasfor about a dozen years. Not a perfect place by any means, but then, you're the expert, aren't you? I ask again, aside from busting my balls, do you ever plan to offer anything of value here? I mean other than orthodox libtard snarking and smirking, of course. You've got them down pat.

I'm also amused by how conservatives like to tout the high population growth of Texas, while not mentioning that like 80% of that comes from Hispanics. Its not like 20 million northern whities decided to decamp for Texas because of lower taxes or a higher inmate execution rate.

Oh, so now you're bigoted against Latinos, too? I'm guessing that 80% figure is up to your usual standards of accuracy. What's a little hyperbole when you're talking to the libtard ladies chorale?

When a hedge fund manager pays the same tax rate as I do then get back to me. Otherwise you're just another conservative blowhard spitting talking points out your backside.

A man of experience, no doubt. Are you ever going to offer anything of value? Ever?

Yep. Right now. They have this great ignore feature on this board. Let me be the first to suggest that you start ignoring me as soon as possible.

Can't get any more substantive than that.

Re: 2012 Elections Part I: All Politics is Yokel

To be fair, that info is from Paul Krugman and was reported in the TexasInsider. Krugman's one of those "keep increasing spending" Keynesian economists. That's not working out too well for us.

I just looked up an additional three stats that came to mind: College grad rate (Texas 40th; Lumina Research), Violent Crime (Texas 15th, US census), Teen birth rates (Texas 1st, guttmacher.org). It doesn't matter who's posting them...rankings are not favorable to the state. No, Perry had very little to do with any of this...but outside of the weather, the Texas model is nothing to brag about.

No sir. Unlike many of the frightened libtard school girls who say they've done that to me, I'm not afraid to read and respond to your posts. For some reason, you've set me aside as needing "special attention." You've turned the entire force of your diminished intellect on me. Stay under the bed, I'm not going anywhere. You're just going to have to put up with somebody who disagrees with you. From time to time though, you might actually try advancing an argument. It would be a refreshing change from your relentless ad hominem blather. "Shut up, he explained."

Actually, the weather is the worst part of it. And not just hurricanes. What can happen is that a hurricane will move onshore, lose its forward momentum and drop an eyepopping amount of rain. A few years ago in Houston, a stalled tropical storm dumped something like 25 inches of rain in 36 hours. A woman died when she took the elevator down to her parking garage, the doors opened, and she drowned when the elevator filled with water in an instant.

As to these carefully chosen statistics, I'm reminded of the cold war story about a highly publicized match race between an American and a Soviet car. Naturally the American car won. The race was reported as follows in Pravda: The Soviet car came in second, the American car finished next to last.

Dear Parise - you can't type, "libtard" fast enough after reading something that twisted your panties. Just sayin. :)

That's true enough. Occasionally though, I offer much, much more. Often with quotes and Scooby's favorites, on point Third Reich references. He's included me in his sig, and can almost always be counted on to respond, childishly, to any post I make. He rarely, if ever, offers a substantive argument to support a position. Just hot air.

His latest contribution to thoughtful dialogue is to suggest I put him on ignore. What did I ever do to him? Nothing more than what I do to all libtards, infuriate them for having the temerity to disagree. Why the nerve of that guy.

You're in my sig because you're on Suze's Wall. Only Suze can put and take people off of her wall.

As for on point Third Reich references. There is no such thing outside of your own mind.

You do, but I think that sometimes you (not unlike all of us) ignore solid contributions of others in lieu of picking apart the one part of a post you find obtuse. No matter what you may think of Scooby or even myself, we're not retards void of comprehensive thought. :)

It's libtards who use the term "retard," most recently to describe a child. I'm only reporting how it seems to me. I have no opinion about him, or you. How can I, I don't know you? How dare you inject some ratonality into this?

Weren't you going to ignore me, or something, sweetie? Your point about Zu Zu's wall makes about as much sense as the rest of your murmurings. Your illiterate observation about Third Reich references speaks for itself.

Ok seriously...if you dont like talking to him so much friggin ignore him. He isnt trying to engage you in any sort of real conversation, he is just trying to spout his usual bs and get you to respond. Either it bothers you as much as your posts indicate or it doesnt but you look kind of dumb arguing with him every day about the same stuff when you can just not read it like me and be happy :)

This. The ignore feature works best when one doesn't quote the people that post like toddlers with typing skills.
