2012 Elections Part I: All Politics is Yokel

Re: 2012 Elections Part I: All Politics is Yokel

I read your post, darling. I was marveling at your dizzying intellect. Truly astounding. You make connections and take tangents that would make Glenn Beck AND Grandpa Simpson blush.

I'll have to rely on your expertise, sweetie, since I don't watch or listen to Beck. Libtard stereotypes rule. Would you like to make some specific arguments, or is name calling all you've got?

Why not both?

Yes, I am aware that that Hitler looks more like Peter Murphy from Bauhaus.

We have a winner in the balcony, doctor.

My statement wasn't premised on your watching or listening to Beck. No stereotype, "libtard" or otherwise was involved. Try again, honey bunch.

Wait, there's more than name calling going on here? I must have missed that.

This flurry of libtard intolerance began when I suggested there were worse crimes than "hypocricy." And the absence of "hypocricy" doesn't excuse the bad behavior of libtard icons. I'm confident if you'll just take the time, you can find the posts. The truth is, libtards are just as intolerant as the people they rail against. And unlike conservatives, their first instinct is to shut up people with whom they disagree. "Hey, I know, let's reinstate the "Fairness Doctrine," that'll fix Limbaugh."

Ahh, about 3 pages back. Got it. Someone mentions Palin's going to be a grandmother, you detour directly to the Kennedys and libtard comments, all heck breaks loose. :)

Yup. And don't forget my "violations" of Godwin's law. Botton line? I don't approve of hypocricy either. But there ARE worse things.

Re: 2012 Elections Part I: All Politics is Yokel

Is your blind hatred of this woman so consuming that you've lost all sense of proportion?

One, I don't hate her, I just think she's an idiot deserving of mockery. Two, even if I did hate her, it wouldn't be blind hatred, but justifiable.

Why should she shut up? Don't we have a First Amendment?

Having the right to open one's mouth doesn't mean it's prudent. As the old saying goes, 'tis better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

She should shut up because she comes off as a sniveling whiny busy body who can dish out criticism but cannot take it. If she's going to whine every time a gay couple gets married, then we get to mock her every time her family farks up yet again.

You didn't violate it, you proved it. I'm paraphrasing here, but, "As a message board discussion increases in length, the likelihood of a person referring to Hitler or the Nazis approaches one."

Congratulations, you proved Godwin right yet again.

In your opinion. Right? No one would suggest you shouldn't be able to exress yours. But you're amazingly comfortable suggesting she shouldn't express hers. Libtard intolerance, period.

If you don't mind, your honor, I plan to appeal. Besides, Moses didn't bring down Godwin's law, anyway. Sometimes references to the Third Reich are useful so that the slow students can keep up.

That's elitist intolerance, *******. I hate idiots of all persuasions who think they know how to run a country. It just so happens that right now the most outspoken ones are all from one side of the aisle.

Who knows? You may even believe that nonsense. I'm sure I've missed your posts calling "The One" and all the little Obamabots to task for one thing or another. However, calling people to task is not quite the same as demanding that they "shut up," is it? And you're very comfortable with that, face it.

You also need to get your story straight on this matter of "hate" when it comes to people with whom you disagree. You deny you hate Palin in one post then do a 180 and say you "hate idiots of all persuasions, etc" Well, which is it? Or are you suggesting there's a huge group of people you hate, but Palin isn't one of 'em. Je le doute.

I'm thinking of that Geico commercial where the guy lives under a rock. It's good that you come out for some sun occasionally. In your lexicon, evidently, "incompetent" means anyone who disagrees with you. Really, your dedication to free speech and a respectful exchange of views is inspirational.
