Well remember...it is not ok for the government to tell you how to live, but ****it every social conservative can! They have a right though, because Jesus told them too! It is ok to interfere into the lives of others if A) they can't interfere in yours and B) There is a book of stories written during the Roman Empire that backs up their ideals :rolleyes:

You're the ambulance chaser, but I'm not sure a historically accurate reference to the Holocaust and related matters actually constitutes a violation of Godwin's law. I wasn't accusing anybody of being a Nazi but trying instead to show the adolescent weakness of Peeless' "logic" that being a "hypocrite" is the worst possible crime. I submit there are other crimes that are worse, like killing 6 million jews. Sorry if the logic here escapes you. I'll try to dumb down future posts so you can keep up.

I don't favor abstinence only either. The idea that some high school teacher putting a condom on a cucumber is going to "get them thinking about sex" is preposterous. At least half of them are "thinking abut sex" 24/7. On the other hand, you haven't read a single study on the issue, let alone "study after study." Quit trying to bolster your weaka*s arguments with phony knowledge you've only seen summarized.

Why so hostile to people of faith? I'm betting you aren't so dogmatic about Muslims. And are you really so ignorant that you can't see the difference between "government" telling you what to do and private citizens expressing their opinions on what you should do? Have a little respect for Christians, bud. You're always telling us of your Jewish faith, and nobody would dare insult it or you, so lighten up why don't you, and show a little tolerance. I don't agree with most of what conservative Christians are advocating, just as I don't agree with most of what Orthodox Jews are advocating, but I don't fulminate about either.

As I recall it, Letterman insulted her 14 year old daughter who was not pregnqant on national tv. You approve of that? Really? Is your blind hatred of this woman so consuming that you've lost all sense of proportion? Are you so afraid of what she's saying? Why should she shut up? Don't we have a First Amendment? And doesn't it give her the right to say what's on her mind? Or does that only appply to Van Jones? I love the reference to "the rest of us." That's how they talk in the Crips and the Bloods. Come to think of it, you guys are the intellectual equivalent of street gangs, so it fits. Carry on.
