Some on the Chicago bandwagon are already wanting an explination for last night's loss
When I first heard the NHL was getting into the reality TV business, I thought I heard "24/Forever," which I took to be a documentary on the sale of the Phoenix Coyotes.
Turns out the show is actually called "24/7" and HBO, home of Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm, is ramping up to do a behind-the-scenes documentary on the preparation for and the playing of the Winter Classic featuring the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I know.
There's a bunch of you out there saying, "Oh, good. More stuff about Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin. Does anybody in the U.S. know there are other players in the league?"
Hey, if HBO wants to try and make Crosby interesting, I say, have at 'er. Sid, as great as he is on the ice, could use some help making Sid interesting off the ice.
All the good folks at HBO think they have to do to make Crosby interesting, one general manager said Thursday, is put a mic on him on the ice and run the unedited footage.
