2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Nice win by the Wild tonight, looks like they're recovering finally from the fire. They practiced some strong puck possession throughout the game. The Oiler's announcers were wondering how a team that can move the puck that well on the powerplay is 21st in the league.

That was cold Handy, really cold.

Yeah it was...at least you dont sound (or look!) like him just use his lame phrases ;)

Owen Nolan was quite the pickup a couple years ago...I seem to remember a lot of people laughing about it or dismissing it but man he has played well since coming here.

I actually heard it first on an old EA NHL Hockey (98?) game not from Saggaisoroiafegaoris.

Nolan was an assist away from the Gordie Howe hat trick.

I am thinking that Stoner spells the end of Scott being with the big club consistently.

Easy. They were playing the Oilers.

John Scott being on the big club in the first place was a bad thing. He's not NHL material. Stoner stepping up is a GOOD thing for the Wild because it gets the AHL talent off the team.

Well, that was an interesting last 10 minutes. Bill Tenderness with two goals in the game. The Xcel will probably be set ablaze, because burning the equipment didn't work.

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Richards must have offered to treat the team to some In-N-Out Burger, but only if Belanger got the game winner.

Whatever he did...the fact that they scored the winner like 20 seconds after LA tied it late was pretty awesome :)

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

The Wild are getting ****ed without the courtesy of a reach around tonight. Weak *** holding call on Brodziak leads to a 5x3 and the Ducks make it 3-1 just after the 1st penalty expires

A really good chance there will be blood in the 3rd period...

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

I hate everything the Ducks stand for...whether it is their cheap *** play, their boring style or the fact that the refs are friggin afraid to call penalties on them for some reason. They are a cancer on the NHL.

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Wow the refs actually call a penalty on the Ducks and Johnnson scores to make it 3-2.

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Holy crap another call on the Ducks...

PP Wild with 3 minutes left.

Another call with 40 seconds left...Boogie threatened a ref I think which would work cause he punched one earlier :p

Good to see the Wild get off the schneid tonight. And Holy hell, we are 2-0 against Calgary thus far.

Belanger, Schultz, Zidlicky, and Brodziak were awesome.
