The clown car apparently thinks they nailed Garland yesterday. They again, got nothing. Just like they got nothing from Hillary Clinton after 10 fucking hours of testimony.

I saw some highlights...I am not even sure what they were trying to prove. Seeing Garland get angry was pretty awesome though as was Swalwell pimpslapping Gym Jordan when he left early about how he still hasn't answered his subpoena from almost 500 days ago.

Dems should sit on this and make all the "Support our Troops" folks make a choice.

It would extremely satisfying to twist that shard of glass into the conservatives' faces.

Obviously, it is the Democrats who are always in support of troops. We fund them, equip them, and try to keep them safe from dying for private company profits.

Democrat Taunts GOP Leader With Bill To Block Lawmaker Pay During Government Shutdown
Rep. Angie Craig’s MCCARTHY Shutdown Act would make sure lawmakers don’t get paid if the federal government closes due to a spending fight.

Craig’s bill would block members of Congress from receiving their scheduled pay if the government shuts down and federal workers are furloughed. She is calling the legislation the My Constituents Cannot Afford Rebellious Tantrums, Handle Your Shutdown Act, or the MCCARTHY Shutdown Act for short.

Well done!

And take care of them after they come back home horribly wounded, or just completely head-fukked.

That is FANTASTIC.

As was Fetterman's, who has the Repubs all in an uproar because they relaxed the dress code in Congress and he wears his shorts and hoodie in the halls.

Tweeted something like "if the jagoffs in the House don't shut down the government, and fully support Ukraine, I will save democracy by wearing a suit in Congress next week"

When Pelosi was getting (in my opinion, ridiculous) pushback from her left flank on infrastructure, she worked with some republicans and passed the bill.

McCarthy is far too stupid to do the same. Instead, he'll smash his head into a wall over and over and over and wonder why he isn't getting anywhere.

Except that the VA does a pretty sh*tty job of that, regardless of who's been in charge. So while Democrats may care a bit more, I'd say neither side really cares enough.

That is more on bureaucracy than anything. Jon Stewart broke it down on TDS years ago.
