60 Minutes had an interesting story about how the US because of the Heritage Foundation and their mindless followers in the Senate have refused to ratify the Law of the Seas treaty. This has given China a clear path to build their Navy beyond the US, AND Mine in the Ocean while no US Companies will mine in the Ocean because of the potential problems since we (the US) are not part of the Treaty.

The Heritage Foundation doesn't see this as a problem.

When the United States is no more we will be able to draw a direct line between that conclusion and The Heritage Foundation.
 
In fairness to the Heritage Foundation, they’re starting to dig their claws into the Conservative Party in both the UK and Canada, so they’re starting to ruin three countries not one.
