People are making guesses, based upon previous Hex results and extrapolating out for two additional teams and the additional games, that around 21-24 points would guarantee qualification. 6-3-3 would be 21 and that’d be close. Based upon the matches, 21 through the first 11 matches (the matches prior to the last window) would be a wonderful scenario.

I was a big fan of the navy with the white sash in 2010. Looking at pictures now, something seems a little off. Sash is too big maybe?

Somehow Nike is cool with creating multiple plain white jerseys, but they feel the need to add stripes or gradients to any away kit. Slap mentioned the 1934 jersey. I would love to see a navy version of that, maybe moving the crest to the left.

It's light grey with red, white and blue accents home and solid white with red and blue accents away, with no geegaws. The fuck is so difficult?

I am shocked FIFA is actually doing something about the “puto” chants, though the hilarious irony of it happening in qualifiers for a World Cup in Qatar is something only FIFA can provide.

Also, Canada gets another lucky break as their game at Azteca is one of the games. On a completely unrelated note, the President of CONCACAF Victor Montagliani of Canada will likely giving a statement shortly…

Also, the punishment for Mexico stems from Olympic Qualifying and not the Nations League Final. There’s now a separate FIFA investigation into the incidents at the Nations League Final.
