Already insane, UAA making it worse
UAE can clinch it with a win today.Iraq, Lebanon, and UAE are still alive for the other spot in Group A.

I think people are, understandably, letting the ghosts of Couva affect the mood. This is a scary week as a US Fan....
I'm not expecting a miracle tonight... But I want to be in a position to where we can realistically take care of business on Sunday. That is the goal.
No matter what, it's gonna be a nerve wracking week...
Paramount+ or CBS Sports Network again.I assume we won't be able to watch the game yet again?
Paramount+ or CBS Sports Network again.
CBS wanted the Canada and Mexico games to be broadcast on CBS but unfortunately the schedule decided to place those games during the AFC Championship and the Sweet Sixteen respectively.
That would have been huge exposure for tonight... I wish that would have been possible...
They can't get out of their own way.
Slipped my mind but Saudi Arabia also qualified.
Asia’s automatic spots are done. Iraq beat the UAE so the other playoff spot is still open.
What were they supposed to do? The schedule is literally built on random chance.
Looking at AFC qualification as a whole, very surprised to see Guam in there. And they made the jump from Oceania a decade before Australia. They still play in other tournaments with all the Oceania teams, so I guess I don’t see why they moved unless they just wanted to play other teams.
They are supposed to secure a real TV schedule beforehand.
Guam is a piece of the United States. Am I missing something?
International windows are decided years in advance and FIFA regulations dictate on what days matches can be held. They are supposed to secure a real TV schedule beforehand.

So are Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. All three are independent FIFA members with their own associations and National teams.Guam is a piece of the United States. Am I missing something?
The 2009 qualifier in Honduras was on Closed Circuit.Well, at least we can watch road games now to begin with. Used to have to pay $400/mo in cable for the extra super premium sports package to get standard def BeIn or watch the most pixelated stream ever broadcast on some totally legit website.
I actually ended up with BeIn for about the last four months or so that PSVue was a thing. I don’t know how that network makes money, but boy did they have some obscure soccer games.
