Alex Morgan will be on the FIFA 16 cover. When I first saw the headlines I thought it was dumb because she wouldn't even be in the game, but evidently they will be adding 12 women's international teams to the game this year.

I believe it will be the first women's sports teams in a video game since one of the college basketball games for ps1 in the late 90s when they included ten or so women's teams.

Now if only Football Manager would start adding women's leagues...

For the uninitiated, Football Manager is sort of a Sim City for soccer clubs, where you become the coach and manage a particular team or teams, including bringing in players, tactics, dealing with the media, and whatnot.

To me, that is an absurd rule. You should be able to technically cross line on your release when throwing a ball back into the outfield

Did they watch the women screw around until the semis and figured they could turn it on too?

Not absurd at all. You only handle the ball in the box.
