And that was a clear dive earlier... Cornell players don't even go down that easy.

I mean, it is a bylaw of CONCACAF that each game must contain at least one or more of crappy ref, crappy field, or outrageously chippy play.

Don't forget one suspicious play. Wouldn't be international football without a whiff of match-fixing.

Interesting Roster Changes
Out: Garza, Morales, Altidore
In: Beasley, Gordon, Corona

Re: World Soccer XXVI: Fun for MLS Fans and Eurosnobs Alike

In other news, rumor has it that Freddy Adu is on his way back to America...this time with the NASL side, Tampa Bay Rowdies. Interesting side note on this is that Tampa's coach was also Freddy's coach at the 2007 U20s where Freddy probably had his best moment, a hat-trick at the U20 World Cup.

So, an unlikely Canada win withstanding, if Guatemala doesn't totally fail tomorrow and beats Cuba, we'll be playing them in the quarters.

Could be El Salvador as well. Guatemala would make me nervous.

Canada goes 3 games at the Gold Cup, doesn't score a goal. That program is still a *ing mess.

USA is so thin on talent we have to call players out of Int'l retirement to play?

Well, Guatemala is totally failing right now. Just went down 1-0 in the 74th off a beautiful header from Cuba on a great cross.
