Have to listen to the story- sorry.

But the gist is that Paraguay gave immunity to the South American FIFA- CONMEBOL- what is basically diplomatic immunity so that CONMEBOL would have their HQ in Paraguay.

Apparently, this does go against the Paraguay Consititution. And they are considering recinding this ability.

The why's of doing it- we've heard many times- with moving HQ to that location, it would generate money- so rather HUGE incentives were given. Since the move in the late 90's, that has not happened.

I know as a soccer person I'm supposed to be excited about the Womens World Cup, but I'm not. It's hard for me to care.

Considering Wambach decided she was going to be a primadonna and not play in the NWSL this year until after the WWC, I'm not all that surprised.

So USA beat Myanmar, beat New Zealand (the host) and played Ukraine this morning in the U-20 World Cup (and lost result whited out incase you're going to watch later) and have qualified for the quarter finals...nice to see them not suck in this tournament so far...

I'd love to see U.S. women win the World Cup so Sepp has to hand them the trophy and die a little inside. I'd also love Alex Morgan to win the Golden Boot as ask Sepp if he "knows who she is yet?" :D

I have a feeling Sepp will not attending. Extradition treaties aside, I believe the Swiss have seized his passport.

Rats. That would've been a heck of sight. I still hope they "dedicate" the win to him.

Says the guy who watches The Bachelor.

Ironically.

I'll put it a different way. Seinfeld is hilarious unless you went to a high school where every third kid had the same shtick in 1979.
