Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

So, were these Chelsea guys supposed to be good or something? City seem to have missed that memo.:D :D

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

So for like the 4th consecutive game Blackburn has a lead. Lets see if they manager to blow it like they have the other ones. A road win (even against Blackpool) would be a real confidence boost after that Carling Cup debacle.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Portsmouth finally gets its first win this year with a 6-1 showing over Leicester City. It's about **** time.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

OK United, you can act like you care about the EPL season any time now. Drawing Bolton is bleeping ridiculous.

I called that at work on Friday. I said Bolton is just the kind of game Man U will draw.

They always lose points to teams they shouldn't.

Should this have been a goal?

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

There are only four teams in the EPL that would have been awarded that goal.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Yes. It was taken from the right place and appeared to be putting the ball into play.

Thought so. My only question though was whether it fell into the category of ceremonial free kick, meaning the referee Attwell would have had to blow his whistle to restart play, and I didn't hear him do that.

It's very telling that this video has been taken down due to a copyright claim by the FA. Since when do sports videos get taken down?

I smell a weak attempt at a coverup.

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Portsmouth wins again, a 3-1 win over Bristol City. Finally starting to click...up to 21st on the Table of the Championship!

:p

Does anyone know where I could find highlights from Championship League online? I read about Portsmouth constantly but never any highlights...

Re: World Soccer XVIII: A New Season

Spurs have ONE healthy defender for today's CL match.
