Nice little draw, no complaints here. And I guess grinding out a 1-0 win against Newcastle midweek isn't so bad after all.

I don't know, do you think those lines are actually where they're going to be next season? It looks to me more like the lines left over from many seasons of soccer, baseball, and football.

On a related note, do you know if they're going to have real grass or turf next season?

As someone who has frozen his fanny in that stadium many times... they've made the ugliest stadium I've ever been in even uglier with that half-assed cantilevered roof. Note that cement wall in the right frame of the feed -- that's actually the side of a huge structure with tennis courts on the roof and YMCA exercise facilities in the upper floors (you can watch middle aged haus fraus do pilates while watching the game).

As a Seattle person I must merely mention that I am not surprised the Timbers have the ugliest stadium. Fits well with their ugly history (Four Leagues No Cups!). :D

Got some calls today, but I didn't think the first handball was a penalty, he had no chance to get his arm out of the way.

The Glen Johnson one was horrid, stupid, and 100% a penalty. I think it helped that even though he clattered into Ivanovic, Agger got the header away, so it looked like no harm...no foul. And in real time it looked like he collided with Agger, not Johnson.

What a nice week for those who don't follow the likes of ManUtd, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

:) Up to 6th, Tottenham and Chelsea have a game in hand and are 6 points up. Chelsea is in 4th based on GD. (+18 to +6) 11 points out of third, no game in hand for Man City.

The chase is on.

Second to last fixture of the season is versus Tottenham. Maybe we can finally beat those a-holes.

Are you watching the Serie A, Roma-Inter match? The football is magnificent today. I usually hate Serie A but it has been pretty spectacular end to end stuff today.

2-1 Inter with 38 minutes gone. Only sad thing is the ref is horrible both ways. Just gave a yellow and a FK for a great tackle that got the ball.

Good win for Wolves over United yesterday. They deserved all 3. I guess I was prophetic when I said they weren't as bad as people thought. It's just too bad they did it to my team.

Fulham might want to do a bit better fact checking for the information on their website; in their article about players involved in midweek internationals, it says Carlos Salcido will be in action for Mexico against Bosnia at "Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Mexico".

Oops.

Big clubs get all the calls, as Liverpool doesn't get a clear third minute penalty, doesn't have the Wigan captain sent off for a second yellow and Wigan's equalizer has both men offside, the one scoring offside by a country mile.

Against Wigan. At home. Unbelievable.
