Ohio St. immediately pressures the Badger puck handler regardless of the zone and forcing a lot of mistakes. As the period ends they're lucky not to be down 3-0 as the Buckeyes come really close. Hastings needs to work some magic with this team because it's not good right now.

If they had played like this from the start of the season, this would be a sub 0.500 team. Fortunately, they played extremely well early, but seem to be flaming out down the stretch. Teams are just owning them inside the dots.
 
Win the face off...then instead of wrapping it along the boards right to the guy 20 ft away, you blast it along the boards right to the OSU blue liner who throws it to a wide open weakside forward for a wide open net and G.

That was just awful. Boneheaded. They are literally giving OSU so much time and space inbetween the dots and just not generating ANY shlts of their own...in the words of St. Vince...

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOIN' ON OHT HERE?!"

I have 60 bucks on my TV and praying for a miracle

Actually, it went on goal and McClelland directed right to the OSU player. But point taken on the clear out.

I thought the same but on the second look they gave it seemed at time of contact skates were still on the ice.

Badgers can't do anything right. Even the simplest passes are off the mark, get tipped. Hell a buckeye sprawled out on the ice still got a touch. Sheesh.
