Wisconsin Hockey 23-24: Hastily Making Wisconsin Hockey Great Again

Awfully quiet here this week! Gameday, time to sweep OSU and move to the top of the Big7. In reality, let's play better in the D zone and better on special teams. They've been hanging around in 2024, but the play hasn't been great at times.

Sorry folks for delay. Just listening to pregame...Kehrer and Lindmark out. Opportunities for others to step up. If we are going to improve oir depth, this is a great opportunity going into the final weeks.

Gotta be fundamentally sound and not get cute with OSU. Be strong, stay oht of the box and play a solid two games.

This is strictly a business trip.

Badgers allow a second OSU conference victory in OT. We may have outshot them, but they played harder and looked like they wanted it more.

It just seems like we get pushed around too much. Need some more grit. Playing as they are, I hope they can get 3 more wins. They won't be in 1st place after getting their games in hand on MSU this weekend, and I'm not liking that matchup in two weeks right now. Seems like they kind of hit their ceiling and everyone else has caught up.

Power play was awful. No offense. Just cant seem to close the dpor on the bottom dwellers. Alaska Anchorage, Lindenwood, now OSU.

Got a point but now cant lose a game or OT/shootout the rest of the way if we want the Big10 Reg season.

I thought the Tassy kneeing call for a major was a pretty awful call. 2min yes. 5...no way. Just goes to show ya how close this team is to a .500 team without 2 or 3 key players.

They seem to have peaked in Milwaukee in December. They just haven’t been good for over a month. Second likely assured and will need to beat this osu twice in Madison to play Michigan / Minnesota in the second round.

Should have won 6-2.

I don’t think they’ve peaked. 2-1-1 vs the rats, 3-1 vs weasels, 4-0 vs Notre dame is nothing to sneeze at. 22-7-2. That’s a damn good record.

as Aaron Rodgers would said R-E-L-A-X.

Of course the season results so far are great but the trend line is not good of late. Just not finishing - team wide case of being snakebitten.

Pretty pathetic result tonight and a so-so effort.

The Tassy penalty seems harsh due to the result of the play but he absolutely stuck his leg/knee out intentionally so the intent warranted the punishment imo.

I like his sandpaper qualities, but no reason to be cheap.

Ya this is way better than this time last year. If were talking final four team, which I think we should be doing every year at Wisconsin, then I don't think we are there yet.

Too many 3 on 2s and even 2 on 1s where we dont get a shot on net. The badger teams that were good took a 3 on 2 or 2 on 1 and turned it into a goal or at least a good opportunty. This team isn't there, yet. Its like they are nervous to put down the hammer.

Hastings said "they're learning experiences".
Guy is awesome.
