Let's go RED!
Sis Paulsen leaving UW for another job. Any idea what it is?
I do believe this for the same job with one of those pro teams.

I sprung for 2 tickets for Sunday's game. I don't expect a lot but effort and accurate passing will be 2 things that would make me happy.
Goals too hopefully haha.
We’re two days away from the season opener, and still no announcement on tv coverage this season. Kind of concerning…

I posted above the discount I got, but have no idea if that code still works.

It is Augusta, right? 2 W's are required I'd say.
I put this up at Buckyville and thought this forum should give a yeah or neh on my 21-15 record being a great season. What say you Badger hockey fans?
Q: "What are reasonable expectations for this season? If things broke right could they be in contention for the tournament?"
My A:
Yes, but the problem is the Big7 is stacked and conference will be a meat grinder. Preseason rankings: Minnesota 3, Michigan 6, MSU 9, OSU 13, PSU 16, N/D 20. Badgers were unranked, receiving votes and at 24 going by that.
Add in the n/c games against NoDak (only 1 game) 7, Mich Tech 10 and a game against Northeastern 19 or Minn Duluth 17 in Milwaukee and you have one of if not the toughest schedule in the country.
Other nonconference should be fairly easy wins. Let's say you go 7-1 against Bemidji, Air Force, Alaska Anchorage, Augustana, and Lindenwood. Let's say you split the other 28 games (which may be a tall task), you would be 21 -15 (not figuring ties in here at this point) and would be on the cusp of an at large bid.
21-15 would be a great season in my opinion. Hastings has never had a losing season as a coach, but he has his work cut out for him this year to continue that streak.
Man…21-15 would fantastic considering how terrible this team was under Granato the last several years.
I suspect by January regardless of record Wisconsin will be a hell of a tough team to beat.

Kudos to the women’s team for kicking the **** out of Boston College! I hope every game is a sell-out for them as they deserve much more respect from Badger fans and press than what I’ve seen. 7 titles in and they should be dwarfing volleyball in popularity.
also, I hope it’s not true but MJ may be looking at retirement after the season. Let’s enjoy the ride.
