Joey Sylvester decommits. Not sure if this is addition by subtraction or if he was highly regarded.

I watched the entire Mike Hastings press conference. My biggest takeaway was the lads have to be willing to put in the amount effort it takes to be successful. That part is a work in progress. He talked highly of the forward group specifically the centers and seemed a little more iffy on the D and goaltending. It certainly appeared that he would like to see the goaltenders work over and above what they're doing right now.
I really enjoyed watching the press conference. I like Coach Hasting’s attitude and approach.
the D-man comments worry me because defense was a huge issue with Granato’s teams.
but it sounds like the kids have bought in…and they should because Hastings has never had a losing season as coach.
Any cord cutters here? What’s the best way to efficiently catch every Badger game this year? Do I need to bite the bullet on a YouTube tv (or similar live sports streaming package) or would a Big 10+ subscription allow me to watch every game?

I am looking at Big10+ also. I'm thinking of going with the school specific package rather than the sport specific package. I would probably be more likely to watch other Badger sports than watch other WCHA or Big10 hockey games that don't involve the Badgers. Am I right that every game in a conference facility is available, either live or shortly after if broadcast live on another channel? Thoughts from those who have subscribed in the past would be appreciated.
With Bally going into Ch 11, who knows if they will televise any games.
Can you expound on this please?
I'll try. https://www.forbes.com/sites/mauryb...ptcy-heres-what-happens-next/?sh=72df647f7bcd
With this, I think there was a question at the end of last year, if they will be doing broadcasts of UW Hockey going forward. It was pretty clear the last hockey game on TV last year, Posick said this could be the last broadcast, and going forward there was going to be significant changes. If that happens we will have few games on regular TV.

With this in mind, it’s interesting that no tv schedule has been announced for the games this year. They’re running out of time to figure it out with the opener a week away.
I would also say it’s incredibly frustrating that there’s no “one stop shop” for watching all of the games. I understand for out of conference away games, but B1G+ not allowing you to stream everything else live is ridiculous.
And yes, B18+ was supposed to be a gold mine for hockey coverage. Sad.
Game week. I'm still debating going on Sunday.
Game week. Finally, after what feels like the longest offseason I can remember, we finally get to see the Hastings era begin. I can't go Saturday as we are going to the Fireside, but I will be there Sunday as long as I don't drown on the Titanic Saturday night.....
I sprung for 2 tickets for Sunday's game. I don't expect a lot but effort and accurate passing will be 2 things that would make me happy.
