Meanwhile wasn't sure where else to put this...

Our Westie who turns 16 December 9th has been dealing with diabetes and being nearly fully blind and deaf for a few years. With that aside form the fact he doesn't go for walks or bark at passersby, he's still been a mostly a happy go lucky dog as always.

Unfortunately he took a bit of a tumble the other day and after was dragging his back right leg. We brought him to the vet and the fall appears to have exposed and/or exasperated spinal issues which now require laser treatment.

He also has an infection (antibiotics) and requires supplements for liver problems.

For now we handling all of it and watching to see if he continues to decline beyond living comfortably or can snap back. Ugh.

I am not a generally a vitriolic person despite my occasional ability to voice a counter opinion here however...


So across the street from my house a new house has been under construction for the past 8 months, culminating today with a house party.


Despite all rules in my association, they have built 7 days a week and often enough well past the 5 p.m. limit. 6 p.m., 8, 10 they don't give a shit. They have parked the loudest cement trucks you can imagine in front of the house, at times running it well past reasonable hours of the day.


Cars and trucks coming and going, honking their horns, people standing literally in my driveway to discuss progress without a second thought.


Yesterday the HOA head asked me if it would be ok if they block the street today directly in front of my house with a tent to accommodate a party.


I kindly told him no as I have things to do today and cannot allow to have my car blocked.


Well as I was out of the house last night they went ahead and put the tent up anyway and I could not park in my driveway but down the street.


Right now I am blasting heavy metal (it is about 1225 p.m. local time) as loud as my speakers will allow, and am specifically looking for "fuck you" songs on Spotify to play. These people can seriously eat a bag of dicks for eternity. Tomorrow I will go back to being a decent human being.

It's not my thing but I can appreciate it theoretically.
