One pair of coincidental minors.

So last Sunday, there was one penalty called with 9.6 seconds remaining in the third period, and this week one pair of coincidental minors. Essentially two full games with no special teams for Wisconsin.

(Last week, the lack of penalty was *horrible* officiating; this week, other than one check of Jaminsky as she headed through the slot, officiating was good.)

Troll, I'll repeat my offseason prediction that UND will win their first NCAA banner before any non-WCHA team gets their first banner. What you think of the all-time scoring leaders in the WCHA is irrelevant. Good luck against Vermont!

Yeesh, lighten up Francis. I didn't think anyone would get so snippy after a big win. Just having a little fun with you guys.

That should have been a penalty. So should the hook on Jaminski when she had a shot blocked late in the third and got the stick out on the UND player to prevent a breakaway. If the WCHA thinks this is a better game, then have their officials swallow the whistle all season long and just get rid of all the penalties from the rule book.

Imagine Huertas doing what she just did, but with a full head of steam, and it not getting called. That's what last weekend UW vs Mankato was like.
