2-1 MN end of 2

All three goals on the PP

Re: WCHA Thread IV

Color and play by play just noted Shannon demanded an audience with officials after the 2nd.

Shocker.

As they also noted that Idalski did same after the first period in tonight's game with Frost, not to be outdone, standing in line behind Idalski.

Re: WCHA Thread IV

UND falls 3-1 to Minnesota. Seasons over?

Yes.

North Dakota didn't go quietly. They played very well in the 3rd period after the Gophers dominated the second. They just couldn't get anything to go in the net.

All Tournament Team
Kelly Terry
Meghan Dufault
Dani Cameranesi
Rachel Ramsey
Tanja Eisenschmid
Amanda Leveille

Tournament MVP
Rachel Ramsey

I'd have two of the All Tournament Team different. Shelby Amsley-Benzie was outstanding both nights and if she hadn't been tonight it would have been a rout after two periods, so she should have been on rather than Leveille, who was very good herself but not as good. And Baylee Gillanders should have been there instead of Eisenschmid. Her ability to control play in the Gophers' defensive zone was phenomenal.

Baylee doesn't get the accolades like some of her teammates and fellow defensemen. She deserves them. She's been killing it throughout the 2nd half IMO. With true senior experienced smart play.

We would but you hardly ever come down from your high perch in the press box to talk to us anymore! :(
I always check brooky's usual spot during warmups, but he is never there. Maybe he found a new spot? And you only come when there isn't a men's game. Or a B-SM game. Or you come for a while but leave after 10 minutes to go next store. Let me know if you're going to be there Saturday, and I'll come say, "Hi."

Can't speak for brooky, but yes, I'll be there Saturday.

As far as my own attendance goes, I recall missing only two home games in their entirety all season, and I've NEVER left a game after just 10 minutes! When there has been a conflict with a men's game, the start times have often been one hour apart (typically 6:07 and 7:07pm) so in those situations I've left around 7:00 (note: if the two teams bothered to coordinate their schedules with one another I wouldn't have to leave the women's game early). And yes, I know I don't "have to" leave early, but I've been a season ticket holder to the men's games for over 40 years, and I fully admit there's some loyalty there.

The Beaver Radio Network is reporting Steve Sertich will be announcing his retirement as Bemidji State's women's hockey coach. Press conference to be held at the Sanford Center at 3 PM Central online at http://newschannel1300.com/listen.php
A little surprising...then again not entirely. Been behind one bench or another for a long time. His Roseville teams as well as the Beavers always gave it 110%. Among the classy coaches IMO. Best wishes to *Serty in the future!

*As a mutual acquaintance refers to Mr. Sertich.
