Re: UVM at Lowell 3/5 & 3/6
Shhhhh... I want them thinking that this weekend matters just as much as they claimed that the Quarterfinals meant last year... QF series in the end turned out to mean nothing at all to Vermont. So, this weekend, I figure that this series means nothing at all to them.
I love you guys.....always a good laugh.
Already on this thread we have :
UML FANS : Your FF doesn't matter only the present matters ( because UML is a point up) Yup, I agree only the present matters and as of today UML is one point up heading into a two game set that will decide home ice from playoff bystander at an arena where UML is 0-4-0 against UVM in the past 3 seasons. That's what matters.
UML FANS: Only last years QF's matter (because UML swept) The QF's matter in that it ended UVM's HE season and lit a fire under their azz helping them make it to the FF. We UVM fans owe you guys a debt of gratitude. But much like last year should UVM say lose in the QF's to UML they still may make the NCAA's and UML still will not.
UML FANS: 3/3/2010 doesn't matter only 3/21/2010 (because UML is ranked lower) Of couse 3/21/2010 doesn't matter either, at least to UML because you guys ain't winning the HE Championship and you ain't getting an at large bid. So in essence neither 3-3 nor 3-21 matter for you guys. On the other hand 3-8 and 3-9 are huge, it could mean the end of your season, it could mean a home ice berth, but the biggest implications are that you may not be a TUC.
But, I am still a little sure what it is you guys consider to be the true test? What is it that truly matters when looking at two teams?
Maybe you guys can stick your heads together (that's figurative) and come up with what actually matters?
