Character Lord Henry was an A-1 wit, and Wilde himself was a great wit as well as a wordsmith. Both master contrarians.

A bit speciulative--I really don't know Wilde very well, other than Dorian Gray and The Importace of Being Earnest. What a quote-master, though.

I need advice. You have seen "I'm Just Pete." I wrote a personalized version for our upcoming wedding anniversary. I have 6 months and I want to do it right, cutting a video with production values, background singers, effects, and the works. I can imagine paying say $10k for it -- it's a once in a lifetime thing. I mean, f-ck it, play it at my funeral and pass it down to the family forever as a way to know who we were.

How do I even start? Would a production company do something for that little?

Having no experience (so possibly talking out of my ass) I would imagine a legit freelancer could be had for such a price.
 
TIL Smells Like Teen Spirit is a deliberate reference / homage to Debaser, which critics never understood despite Cobain repeatedly explaining it.
 
Every time I hear "Love Vigilantes" I spend the first 40 bars thinking, "I've never heard this Replacements song before."
