Re: Unrest in Egypt

I wonder what happens to my ability to drive when smaller
Cars become the norm

we all know there are no tall people in Europe!

I know a pretty tall guy that owned a VW beetle until someone ran a red light and t-boned him. Anyway, he had no problem driving the thing, but it sucked for anyone that tried to sit behind him! Of course we made fun of him all time time (we shared an aparment for a couple years during college, which is when he had this car).

40,000 miles ayear is different than driving across town but whatever

I moved the seat back about 6" in a toyota celica I bought in college. What a beater that was, people used to laugh when they saw me get out of it:D

Thats all well and good, but I'm pretty sure I know the difference between my head hitting the ceiling and it not hitting the ceiling. Plus you can't tow a 25k lb trailer with a Hyundai.

Just get a team of oxen to tow the **** thing. Remember to buy spare parts though because if your axle breaks near soda springs, you're ****ed. And bring lots of ammo because buying food is for suckers.

You think I go anywhere without a bunch of ammo? I have 4 boxes in my truck right now. Gotta be prepared with the Mexicans trying to take over the country.

Re: Unrest in Egypt

I played it. But that game ****ed me off. God **** dysentery.

There are sections of the trail where the wagon tracks are still visible in the rocks. A few years ago in Reader's Digest a father wrote in because he took his family to one such place and his daughter looked really dejected. He asked what was wrong and she said, "This is where my oxen always die." :D

Yeah, I've always thought there was something incredibly awesome about that:

I had the Oregon Trail on a newer computer and it was not nearly as fun. The game zoomed by in like 3 minutes!

Now the Facebook version, that was fun! You could rob other people's cart and get shot! Plus there were cooler ways to die and you could eat the dead Donner Party style :D

Re: Unrest in Egypt

UN HRC: "Hey, Libya's pretty dang awesome on human rights."

As the United Nations works feverishly to condemn Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi for cracking down on protesters, the body's Human Rights Council is poised to adopt a report chock-full of praise for Libya's human rights record.

The review commends Libya for improving educational opportunities, for making human rights a "priority" and for bettering its "constitutional" framework. Several countries, including Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, and Saudi Arabia but also Canada, give Libya positive marks for the legal protections afforded to its citizens -- who are now revolting against the regime and facing bloody reprisal.

Re: Unrest in Egypt

I studied in Europe with two guys named Kuhn. One eventually was called big Kuhn and the other little Kuhn...little Kuhn was 6'4" and about 250 lbs. :D

What do they want to be when they grow up?
