University of Maine 2024–2025: Freel-ing good

I'm not sure..nobody knows. He's been playing bottom pairing minutes. I'm wondering if he just needed a kick from Barr or there's something else going on. The D now are more 2 way so maybe they need more of that from him.

Oh well, I’m sure coach has his reasons. The lines are the same according to the listing on hockey east online. They also have Silverstein making his first start in goal for Quinnipiac. That is about the toughest place to have a first start under that balcony at Alfond. See how he handles nerves. Hope the students know his Mom’s name.

Charlie Russell bangs home a rebound off a Scott shot on net.

Maine 2-0

Maine has had to kill a ton of penalty time this period. Amazed Maine is up by 2 right now.

Boys look really good this year.
New lights are rough for fans, alot of shadows on the ice and glare, cant believe players like that. Old lighting straight overhead offered better ice illumination. Wonder why they did this.
Cant wait for the new bathrooms!!

Makar earns a power play in the closing seconds of the second period. Maine will start the third with a power play.

Maine 2-1 after two
