I'm not going to say anything over-the-top negative about them, just because they constantly battle against the odds and end up succeeding, but that was an incredibly bad loss against an obviously inferior football team. Oh well. :(

Tom Manning is the hero for UNH today as they beat Hofstra 18-10. Cats are now 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the CAA North. Richmond is pounding UMass 27-3 in the third quarter. A Richmond win would give UNH sole possession of first in the North divsision.

UNH playing Northeastern in Durham today. UNH received the opening kick, and their first drive resulted in an INT. They held NU on a fourth and three at the UNH 41. UNH would then score a TD on a Chad Kackert 13 yard run. In the first quarter it's 7-0 Wildcats.

Late in the first and NU have tied it at 7. Nice return by UNH on the kickoff has the Cats at the mid-field stripe.

After an acrobatic one handed catch on the sideline by TE Scott Sicko, Chad Kackert runs it in from 22 yards out to put UNH back on top.

After stopping NU on their ensuing drive, UNH need only one play to make it 21-7 as Jellison takes it in from 54 yards out.

After UNH fakes a punt, Toman hits Sicko in the endzone from 27 yards out. With 6:52 left in the first half it's now 28-7 Cats.

In the second half so far, UNH has 2 TD's a 2 Tom Manning FG's. The Huskies have scored a TD and the score is now 48-14 UNH.

Game over. Cats destroy Northeastern today in every facet of the game. Nice to get this monkey off our collective backs as NU has been a thorn in UNH's side for a few years now. Next week it's Rhode Island. The Cats are now 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the CAA north.

Ah, never mind. That joke won't make sense to anyone but me. (I work and live in Virginia, between a couple fairly respectable CAA schools...)

RI shred the UNH defense and punch one in from a yard out to take a 7-0 lead. 4 minutes gone in the first quarter.
