PA needs to start off his show tommorrow with:

YES!!! YES!!! THE COWBOYS HAVE KNOCKED THE EAGLES OUT OF A PLAYOFF BYE!!

Re: (un-) Official Minnesota Vikings 2009-2010 season thread

Was the Vikings beating the Giants via KR, PR, and INT for touchdown before or after the 41-0 game?

That seemed much sweeter to me then a drubbing would. Since as I recall the offense did nothing in either game, yet they somehow won the one.

After.

Re: (un-) Official Minnesota Vikings 2009-2010 season thread

at one point it was 41-0. Who thought of that? :D

Seriously, go Cowboys.

My OC crowd was thinking along the same lines:

"Why are the starters in?!" (when it was 34-0)
"41-donut. Then they are pulled."
"Why? Oh, nevermind." (big grin)

I think they should have kept the starters in and tried to hang 70 on those ****ers.

That was the first and last time I bet more than pocket change on an NFL game (bet on the Giants figuring at the time "there's no way in **** a bad MN game wins on the road").

Then they are retarded. ;)

But seriously, how many people currently associated with Vikings were there in 2000? I doubt reaching 41-0 had anything to do with keeping them in/pulling them out.

Well duh. They hang out with Brent for 20+ Sundays a year.

Whoosh. We were all saying how stupid it was that the starters played in the second half. It was completely idiotic. Heck, most of us were thinking that given the effort by the Jernts, after it was 31-0, the starters could have sat.

If the Packers and Philly win next week, won't GB come to the Metrodome to play? That would be an iteresting game. Living in a divided household, it would make for a very uncomfortable afternoon.

I'd rather see the Packers go to the Superdome and knock off the Saints, so the Vikes don't have to leave home until the trip to Miami.

Jimmy Kleinsasser I think is the only player left now from then.

'Queens vs America's Team:rolleyes:

Anybody remember the 1978 NFC Championship game? The Whiskey bottle Game with Drew Pearson's push-off? Too bad this year isn't being played outside like that one. Oh, for the good old days!

EDIT
I think it was 1975, not 1978.
