75 and it was MASSIVE PI.

I watched on TV, not the stands for that one. It was PI, but hardly massive - little push on the hip that unbalanced the DB. No way a ref could see it. I hated it at the time, but it was a good play by Pearson.

Why are we playing this game again?

The more I listen to the different NFL experts, the more I'm trying to figure out why this game is even taking place. I hate it when teams do it, but I think the Vikes need to pick up on all the "disrespect" and try and use it to their advantage. This is getting ridiculous.

My favorite one was a poll on ESPN on Sunday. It asked how far the Cowboys would make it in the playoffs and had two options. NFC Championship and Super Bowl.

This has to be the biggest mass bandwagon jumping by the experts ever for a team that has really done nothing to prove they are better then their opponent.

Are you surprised...they tired of Favre (partly because GB lost) and now FINALLY Romo hasn't crapped the bed late in the season. The media wants Dallas to win for about 1000 reasons...fine by me!

They'll jump back on the Vikings bandwagon after the 45-17 shellacking that will be laid upon the 'boys on Sunday.

nah. The Vikings are the least-sexy team in the playoffs. No one will be on their bandwagon until they win the Bowl.

Agreed. And that was on top of Mark Mullaney getting tackled by the offensive lineman on the same play as he came in on Staubach and Drew Pearson getting a gift in-bounds call earlier in the drive that otherwise would have ended the drive. I remember the last moments of that game more than any other Viking event of my entire youth. It as a crying shame that the best Viking team of the 70s was denied a chance to get to the Super Bowl due to multiple blown calls on the last drive.

The good news is they were wrong on 3 of 4 games last weekend. Some of these same idiot's were saying we would have a Packer/Patriot superbowl. And the big question has gone from "can Tony Romo win a playoff game" to "can Tony Romo be beaten in a playoff game".

Trent Dilfer was just on Mike and Mike saying he thinks the Cowboys win in a blowout. He was also talking about Favre's "interception DNA" and how it was going to show up on Sunday. Funny how he made no mention of Tony Romo's "playoff choker" DNA.

Re: (un-) Official Minnesota Vikings 2009-2010 season thread

Every year there is the one team who wins in the Wild Card round and the media make them the new darling. This year it was going to be Green Bay for a whole slew of reasons but they lost. (Philly was that team before getting beat by the Cowboys in Week 17) Dallas won so now they are the hot pick.

I still don't understand why anyone listens to anything Trent Dilfer has to say. First of all he was a bad QB and second he is a moron. this was the guy who started a fight with John Randle.

Let them all pick against the Vikes, it just increases the chances the Vikes win. :)

Re: (un-) Official Minnesota Vikings 2009-2010 season thread

I was thinking of a way to explain Dilfer's comments by thinking that it came from some deep-seeded anger against Favre for never getting injured while he was his backup.

Then I remembered that Dilfer never was Favre's backup, and I was thinking of Ty Detmer.

I honestly got Trent Dilfer confused with Ty Detmer.

Is there a better way to explain how bad a QB Dilfer was?

No Respect. It amazes me that ESPNFavre is on the no respect for their blow boy bandwagon. Amazing.

This is it. You had your bye, you got your QB. Now do what you're supposed to do and win.

I say again. They have no chance.
