UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

I was unable to make the Banquet this year. How was the turn out, and the UMass Lowell Inn & Conference Center? Any new information about the program or players?

It was full, they needed more seats. Still not a ballroom worth. The conference ctr was cool. It was nice going to somewhere the U owned. Soup is capt. Edwards, Blair, Wetmore A capt. Josh Holmstrom was there. They ribbed him a lot.

Thanks for the update Les. Happy Mother's Day.

Any chance this is an inkling that Soup and Edwards aren't leaving early?

well, if they stay then its their team to figure out what to do with them. Not that I'm trying to push the pressure on them but I know both of them are looking towards their future and they'll have to do well.

i'd say there's very little chance soup leaves after getting the C, edwards more likely with the A but still not probable. coulda told you that in march though.

I heard that Campbell was looking to join to find a team after the team was eliminated. Doesn't seem likely that he would jump ship now though. The person that told me this is a UML student who said "his agent is looking for a team." Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought hiring an agent disqualified you for college eligibility so this rumor might be false.

Almost every half way decent player has a 'family advisor' who assists the 'family' in considering options. How else do you think that all those kids sign so fast at the end of the season?
