Arnold picked a great time for his 1st goal of the season. Lets hope he gets hot now and starts scoring more.

Congrats to the River Hawks on the weekend sweep! Wish I knew what the he11 is wrong with UNH, other than the fact they appeared to have lost the will to score goals, as well as the will to win.

Umile's retirement can't come soon enough.....

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

A few thoughts:

1. Good game by Carr, but I still disagree that this should be anything close to a rotation. To me anyway it seems that Doug is noticeably slower going side to side, and he has to look behind him way too much for my comfort.

2. I'm surprised that Folin bomb didn't go through the net. What a cannon.

3. For the love of god please stop taking bad penalties. There was no reason for Holmstrom's holding penalty that lead to the tying goal.

4. The breakout has improved leaps and bounds since the Q series. It was such a crucial part to Lowell's success last year, I'm glad they're figuring it out in the post-Ruhwedel era.

5. All three goals demonstrated more of the excellent passing we saw on Friday, and I'm including the Chapie soccer pass to Pendenza on the first goal.

6. Four point weekends mean so much more with this new 2x league schedule. There are now just 40 points available versus 54 in previous years.

7. The UNH student section will steal any bit, it seems. Did anyone else notice the EASY button behind the celebrating UNH players during the game tying goal? It's visible on the highlight video. Shameless.

Just watched the game this morning on replay. Thanks to Go-UML for the updates on my text, as I was at the Revs playoff game.

Two huge wins for my two teams last night. I'm all smiles this morning.

What a fantastic play by Chapie. Kicking the puck over to Pendenza has to be the play of the year so far.

Agree, too many penalties. The Hawks were doing a great job pinning UNH in their own end with just over a minute to go. No need to hold a player 200 feet from your own goal. Josh had a tough end of the game as he also took another penalty early in OT which could have been a real disaster. Leave it to the Hawks to make it harder than it has to be.

Great kick pass by Chapie and finish by Pendenza.

A tough stretch coming up with 4 games in 6 days.

Game highlights from the HE site.

Wow, I completely missed that. How in hell did they allow a schedule where you'd play Tuesday, Thursday and Friday?

Looking forward to Saturday night. NU comes in with the same record as Lowell 5-3, but has scored 13 more goals in that time frame, while giving up 6 more.

Last time NU came to Tsongas was the 4 goal comeback OT win in front of a sellout crowd last January. They should play that highlight reel before the game for the team and the crowd! :D

So Patronick should be prepared to leave early like last time...
