We lost to Sacred Heart. I don't think this team is going to take anyone lightly anymore.

It's not a matter of taking a team lightly, NU is good enough to give Lowell a game.

No Hockey East team (or fan) should take any Hockey East team lightly. Anyone is capable of beating anyone on any given night. That said, Lowell is on a roll and has looked better each game while NU hasn't yet proven they can beat a good team and have lost 3 straight including the heartbreaker in OT to BC. If NU isn't able to shake that off and come out of the gate with some swagger, I predict this game could get ugly for them.

NU is the closest we have to a nemesis right now. Sure there is BU but they are everybody's nemesis

There's not much adjacent to the arena. The closest place is Lowell Beer Works. If you're familiar with Boston Beer Works, its the same chain. I think the food and beer there is great. It fills up before games though, so get there early. You probably want to be there around 5:00.
If you don't mind walking, I'm a fan of Ward 8. Great craft beer selection, and I've heard the food is good as well. It's about a mile walk to the arena, but there's a parking lot adjacent where you can park for free I believe.
Pretty much everything in downtown Lowell is within walking distance.

Beer Works has a parking lot right across the street that is owned by Notini. They charge $10 to park. Good selection of beers, and pretty good food as well.
