Well said.
Beer Works has a parking lot right across the street that is owned by Notini. They charge $10 to park. Good selection of beers, and pretty good food as well.
I agree and recommend the Godzilla if they still have it. Good stuff.

Some good advice so far. If it's your first time in the area, you definitely want to be parked by 5pm at the latest and should plan on walking the rest of the evening. Also, if you don't have your tickets in hand when you drive in, get them at the arena first, then seek food.Headed to Tsongas for the first time this weekend, looking forward to a good game of hockey. First time to the city of Lowell as well, any UML posters have suggestions regarding places to eat before/after the game?

Once the game is over, the Lowell PD has done a really good job of streamlining the evacuation of the area after a game, putting officers at all the lights between the arena and the Connector on-ramp.
Lowell lost their first ever DI basketball game, but I have to say ... I'm still impressed. Lost 69-42, but actually scored first in the second half to take a 25-23 lead. At last year's NCAA DI Finalist. ****.
Eventually talent and depth just ran them over, but still like how they played.
Sometimes you literally cannot buy a bounce of the puck. Not sure how that last waived off goal (of the three reviews and one absurd "goalie interference but we'll ignore the hook preceding it" waived off goal) didn't cross the line.
Except for the defensive lapse that led to the second NU goal, Lowell played a great game. Hats off to NU, both teams were dealing with some irrational officials tonight. Roy's goal was a beauty.
On to Princeton.

Officiating was equally horrible. I was in sec 101 with a clear view of that play and I would have bet my house that would have been called a goal on replay. Lowell played well enough to win but didnt get the breaks and there were frustrating stretches of time where they just coasted around. I would say the effort and passion was there 45/60 minutes. Congrats to NU who stole one tonight on a lot of determination and a little luck.

Lowell came out flying in the 1st and scored the 1st goal and everything looked good. Then they killed all their momentum with penalties and they never fully recovered. They need to stay out of the box and stop taking so many penalties.
