UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

That's more like it. Lowell got back to their game and put the pressure on in the UNH zone.

Sidenote: I sit in section 118 which is directly across from the visitors bench. Umile lost his mind in the 1st period and I could clearly hear him dropping F bombs. His face was getting even redder that it usually is. 10 seconds after his outburst Lowell scored and Umile proceeded to lean against the glass behind the bench with his arms closed. That guy has issues.

Moral of the story? Umile is a Grade A d-bag

And an idiot... 5-3 w 19 ticks left on a PP... Pull your goalie... Unlikely, sure, impossible, hello no

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

Fun game to watch. Total loss of control at the end of the game. Stupid. I would have paid money to see UNH #5 in the box. What a goon. I wonder how many times outs he had in daycare for not keeping his hands to himself...

And UUTF with CAP cutting out before the end of the game show to play music? Yeah, OK, I love being Division I and moving the radio to the professional network that doesn't show enough respect to see things to the end.

As much as I love the school the jump to D1 has been a disaster so far. Too many new hires who no nothing about the Alumni & the Community.

My season tickets didn't make it to me even though I paid online with the correct address. The new crew sent them to my old place. When I emailed they told me to pick up my tickets at will-call.

I finally picked up my season tickets (after they were returned to UML)at the Box Office after emailing them again

Enough of that! Good win tonight.

I understand growing pains but that is unacceptable. I'd email the A.D's office about it, Dana Skinner directly...

WCAP has a business to run. The venue probably paid good money to highlight the show as well (unsure which may the money flows on this one to be honest).

Bottom line is that unless UML wants to park w cash for flexibility it isn't going to happen.

I agree it sucks, but this is what happens when you make that trade.

Lowell 5 UNH 3. Does Carr get the start tomorrow night?

I emailed everyone else that was on the email I got promoting the team and cc Bob Ellis. We have been in D I for 30 yrs in Hockey. Now we have D I for everyone and we have entered the land of wanna bes and mediocrity.

Well, making the trade so far is alienating me and I have a reason to want to stay engaged. My patients used to come in and talk about what they heard on the radio about the team. Now all I have heard is they couldn't get it on the radio, reception stank or they were POd' because they cut the show. Same with my friends. How could they take something that was really growing and screw it up so badly?

The big thing I'll agree with is they need to be on a better signal... Don't know about the FM, but if 1000 AM still exists in Leominster then I'd worry about interference if I were home. I remember going to the unnamed rest stop near devens and driving up and down route 70 near lancaster to listen to a game in 2002/2003 because I was having interference from Fitchburg state on 91.3

I hope not. Aside fromn the fact that he was lit up against UNH last season, Hellebyuck is the backbone of the team. It's clear who the number 1 is, don't mess with it.

Yeah, why mess with it. Hellebyuck will get tired at some point... hopefully not injured... or slump (don't want that either).

Doug Carr is just in a tough spot.

The larger issue is that it would appear that many of the veteran fans at UNH have reached the "I don't care" stage. Note that UNH is now selling "discounted" tickets for hockey games. Lowell and Providence have led the way with new coaches and should be congratulated.

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

For about 15 minutes of the second period, I thought we saw the Lowell team from last year. I've never seen UNH so discombobulated. They couldn't clear the zone. McGrath's line at one point kept stealing the puck at the line (three times on that shift I think) to keep the puck in.

Fun game to watch. Disappointed in how UNH decided to act at the end of the game.

Had a very weird conversation, while out smoking after the second, with a guy who said he played for Umile for four years. Absolutely ripped Umile, said he really has no idea who his players are when they walk on campus. As much as I'm looking at UNH's future recruits and saying "wow..." he coaches juniors (supposedly) and said they're not all that good (for this level). He loves Bazin and Dennehy, best two coaches in HE.

I thought the UNH defensemen had a tough night. Good effort by the Hawks and 2 big league points. Hopefully they can get a couple more tonight on the big ice. The Hawks will need to cut down on the penalties tonight.

Which goalie gives Lowell the best shot at winning? The answer is obvious and Hellebuyck should start tonight. He has been
making the big saves when they are needed and the team plays with lots of confidence in front of him. Go UML!

I think we should have someone in net. Other than that I will root for who ever they put there.

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

I HATE this radio set up. More than 40 sec delay. a second or so and you can still watch the game. That kind of delay you have to chose. Lil les chose the TV. I am busy with some other stuff so sort of listening to the radio and sort of watching. He keeps telling me what happens a minute before I hear it. Grr. Maybe I should just switch and route for ProVicid!!1!! I be they don't have rinkydink radio. Viva L'Alliance!

ANd we scored (YAY) but I still have another minute before Bob announces it.

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

And Bob is yelling SCORRREEEEEE!!!!!

Nice win for the boys!
