UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

No need to worry about poles.
A good, much-needed win that will hopefully go far in stabilizing the team. From listening to the game, it appeared there was much better chemistry, flow, and more overall complete game play. Hopefully things are getting in sync and starting to click now as from what I heard, that seemed to be the case.

Big test tomorrow at Michigan and hopefully we'll be at 3-3 after the game and stopped the freefall in the national poll.

Don't know if you can lock in on one goaltender yet but Connor played a good game. My guess is we'll see Carr tomorrow but given the home-state crowd for Connor, he could also get the nod.

Much needed win. So much more of the style that we played last year, than we had so far this season. And BTW, nice shot by Gambardella.

Here at Yost. Showed score on their scoreboard as UMASS. #norespect
Last weekend was listening to the game on our own college station and they also called us UMass. Dopes(tm). Hopefully Yost gets it right tonight.

Excellent win and an excellent weekend. Bring on the Hockey East schedule!

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

Lowell picks up 6 points in the Hockey East/B10 Challenge with the two road wins. Hockey East wins, leading 18-9 with just the final BC/Minnesota tilt remaining.

Great win last night and a sweep of the Michigan weekend. They seem to be playing much more in the style we've been used to the past two seasons. Hopefully things are clicking better now as the team chemistry builds and Lowell's traditional slow start is over, not extending into December like last year.

Great game to watch live... and kudos for your fans at Yost. Hellebuyck was unconscious.

Good luck in HEA. Hopefully see you again in April.

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

Great weekend for Lowell. Here's hoping that this now carries into the UNH weekend.

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

Connor Hellebuyck was named HE Defensive Player of the Week and UMass-Lowell the HE Team of the week.

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

Some of the local Market Basket stores have vouchers for $5 tickets to tonight's game. $13 off a ticket is good for roughly two beers!

Re: UML 2013/2014 Season ... The Target is firmly on

That's more like it. Lowell got back to their game and put the pressure on in the UNH zone.

Sidenote: I sit in section 118 which is directly across from the visitors bench. Umile lost his mind in the 1st period and I could clearly hear him dropping F bombs. His face was getting even redder that it usually is. 10 seconds after his outburst Lowell scored and Umile proceeded to lean against the glass behind the bench with his arms closed. That guy has issues.

Moral of the story? Umile is a Grade A d-bag

Fun game to watch. Total loss of control at the end of the game. Stupid. I would have paid money to see UNH #5 in the box. What a goon. I wonder how many times outs he had in daycare for not keeping his hands to himself...

And UUTF with CAP cutting out before the end of the game show to play music? Yeah, OK, I love being Division I and moving the radio to the professional network that doesn't show enough respect to see things to the end.
