the ONLY other thing I think they could do... digital ribbon board... the space is clear for it... jumbotrons are too large to do quickly or without notice. Yeah, I'm sure it could be an annoyance to install but I could think a competent crew could put it in about a weeks time... and that's the type of something we'd be talking about... something interesting but only takes a week.

Other than that I'll let others guess.

No argument, but the Princeton games (I guess) could be excused. The attendance for the last UMass game was awful.

it's a ribbon scoreboard around the arena. i was told this months ago when i broke the news the arena would be bought by the U.

from the post on Oct. 26:

"2. The school will invest in one of those wrap-around LED screens that will ring the inside of the top of the seating area."

we were told there was a good chance this would be done over break. and so it has.

Such a huge weekend. I really feel like this season's been a let down so far ... considering expectations. This team needs to come out of the gates tonight showing some serious tenacity and smart play. And get Campbell going.

It would be huge to get a win tonight, they haven't had much luck in Durham in years. According to the game notes the last win at UNH was Nov. 25, 2003. It's time for this team to get on a roll. I hope it's a good ride home tonight.

Are you going to the game Monty?

I'm out for this weekend's games. Going to chill out at home tonight and prepare for Sunday's tailgate tomorrow night.

That's a good thing. Of course, if we win the next three games without me being there (this weekend and @ UMass), I will sacrifice next Saturday and just stay at the bar... ;)

I was sure the Marty statue was coming in way before the scoreboard...

Whats the ticket situation like tonight? Can I buy at the door?

Did anyone else notice that UNH charges different ticket prices based on thier opponent? Is that common? I wouldn't mind soaking the BC alumn for a couple extra bucks...

I would think tickets would be available. I believe the UNH students are on break. It wasn't a sellout when Lowell played there in early December.

When I was flipping through the radio on my drive into work this morning, I heard the Morning Buzz interviewing Dick Umile and they mentioned that there were still plenty of tickets available for both UNH games this weekend.
