UML '09/'10 Season Thread Part II

Re: UML '09/'10 Season Thread Part II

well, for whatever we've done on the ice there's a lot of other things going around which will make people want to come. Remove current performance from the mix and it looks really good.

With the University taking over Tsongas, the increase in student attendance, and the product on the ice, I think Lowell is in good shape going forward.

I'm sick of these 4 year cycles. Its time for Lowell to take the next step and I'm confident they can do it (probably not in 2010/2011, but in 2011/2012).

Echoing Monty... hate to see the word "career ending" anywhere... best of luck and I hope he stays at Lowell until he graduates (not sure where he's from and all that other stuff).

He's a senior, so it'd be kind of not smart to leave with only 3 months left of college. Not sure he was really a scholarship guy to begin with either.

I didn't realize... figured he was maybe a junior.

Re: UML '09/'10 Season Thread Part II

I think UML is in good position to win 4 or 5 out of their remaining six games. Providence is just not very good and UVM's season is going downhill quick with dismissal of Milo and injury to Stacey. I've always respected the Lowell program and would love to see the River Hawks at the Garden, especially if it was at the expense of BC or UMass-Amherst. Hopefully they get healthy over the next few weeks for the playoffs.

I'd agree with you except that Lowell has consistenly played to the level of their opponents this season, which is frustrating as hell. Plus PC seems to just have Lowell's number.

He may have some eligibility left as he transfered in from UMA. He did not play a game for Amherst in 2005-2006, and only played seven games in 2006-2007 before coming to Lowell.

Game notes are already up.

Your refs for the weekend:

Referee:......................................................Bryan Goodwin
Referee:.....................................................John Gravellese
Linesman: ....................................................Frank Keough

I would imagine Lowell has sent their tickets back by now. Your best bet for tickets would be to call Maine. I know they were not selling out earlier in the year but I'm not sure about this weekend.

Maine Athletic Ticket Office Hours
Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm
For Ticket Reservations or Ticket Information call 581-BEAR or 1-800-756-TEAM.

Re: UML '09/'10 Season Thread Part II

I just ordered tickets through the Maine ticket office. Unobstructed view seats in DDD one night and OOO on the other night. $19 per ticket and a $6 Processing Fee for the order. Picking them up at Will Call tomorrow night.

For those of you going to Orono. All the best!

I went to Alfond back in the early 90's to see Lowell get their arses kicked. The Maine fans were rabid.

As I said in an earlier post, Lowell will get 2 points this weekend,
