I don't see myself intentionally watching a game from here on out... doesn't mean I won't see one every once in awhile but I won't remember game times and dates with intent.

This is more being 14 years apart as much as anything else.

Basketball is teasing again for sure. I wonder what those regional look like. Iirc 3 of the 8 are driving distance. Still probably only a 25 percent chance but who knows

It's been tough to watch, but I'm looking forward to getting back to the Tsongas. Let's hope the team can finally put it together and get a win. Any word on Henry Welsch? I wonder if TJ Schweighardt will be available. He left late in the second Maine game with what looked like an arm / hand injury.
 
Lowell basketball came from 7 points down with less than 2 minutes to go to tie the game, but then fell apart in OT and lost their first AE game of the season.

And their 1st home loss in nearly 2 calendar years.
 
I’m glad I didn’t go tonight. Wow, I didn’t think we would have a season like this under Norm. I doubt they win another game.

It's like as soon as they go down, they know they are going to lose and give 0 effort. They end up giving up a whole bunch of freebies right after and boom blowout. Happens a lot with them this year

They had a bad loss to Central Connecticut at the Tsongas in December.

In regards to the hockey team, I left when it was 5-0 then saw the 6th as I was walking out. I've never left a game that early, but I've said it here over and over ... this isn't entertaining. Embarrassing performance. The lack of talent on this team is on Bazin and his recruiting philosophy, but the mental mistakes that were made last night are on the players. This was disgusting. It's almost like most of us (but obviously not all since I was "yelled" at here because one player scored four goals in a game) saw the lack of offensive talent on the roster.

What's frustrating is many of the mental mistakes are being made by the veteran players. Scoring was going to be an issue this season, but I thought the defensive side would be solid. that hasn't happened. Granted there have been plenty of injuries, in fact Bob Ellis mentioned in the post-game that injuries and illness are still limiting roster moves. Hopefully they play better tonight.

I generally hate when I have other things to do instead of going to a game, but ... I'm thankful I have plans Friday. Even if we shockingly win (which actually wouldn't surprise me considering this is the definition of a let-down game for BC), it won't change the overall script of this season.

It sounds like the game is very close to a sellout. I just hope the Hawks can play them tough like they did earlier in the season.

Congratulations to Roc Truman for scoring his first goal in his first college game Saturday night at Providence. Did he take a regular shift?

I don't know what can get done? I'd be worried about flight risks out of the transfer portal. I'm also worried about goaltending depth, as Bazin is going to have to fill the second spot with someone (probably in the portal). Will there be a goal scorer that will truly develop that's currently in the program or can they find someone in the portal? Are Nimic, Parks, Delaney and Cook enough additions to the offensive side of things. The defense has started to struggle a bit trying to pick up the slack for the offense, will they get better with their two additions? Next year, IMHO, isn't going to be that much better.
