Agree. I would also like to see more of a killer instinct from the team. I think at times they seem to take their foot off the gas or lack the intensity / urgency. Hard to complain too much with the team at 10-1-4 but these are two games they need to take.

Good point about the travel. UConn should be well rested as their last game was at home over a week and a half ago.

I often wonder what goes on between the ears of merchandising people... Wholly committed to selling things nobody over 20 would want.

I've seen plenty of them in the stands each weekend, so people are buying them.

LOL! Exactly. I just wish they'd been more creative with the design as it just seems to miss the mark by just slapping a Riverhawk logo on the front. All I can say is they better win Sunday as if they go 0-2 when wearing it, there should be a third jersey bonfire/exorcism.

hahahaha, that's awesome. More evidence that Tsongas is amongst the best as a college hockey venue. Love going there

This is ridiculous. Playing down to their opponent again. How this team has only lost one game is beyond me. Hope they come back but this may be one of those games we point to at the end of the season that they should've won to make the NCAAs.

And 4-3 loss. The last three games haven't been played all that well by this Hawks team.

These are the games that kill you and we'll be talking about come the end of the season when they don't make the NCAAs unless they win the HE championship. The ties and games like this.

Was thinking the same thing, get their feet wet with a home crowd that's going to be behind them. This is three not so great showings against three not so great teams. With what Norm has done with the program I am not going to sit here judging every decision, but this afternoon's showing is hard to stomach

Agreed.

And on a positive note, Connor Hellebuyck won again today, beating the Capitals 2-1 to go 3-0 in his first three NHL starts (and was #1 star of the game too). In those three starts, he's posted a .97 GAA and a .965 SV%. Not too shabby!

It's exactly what happened last season. One additional win and they would have made the NCAAs.

Exactly. Today will be one of those games that will come back to bite them in the you-know-what come NCAA time. It's a shame.
