Says 5 sold in the last day. Yesterday there were a bunch on there for $80-$90 dollars. Now the cheapest is $143. Doesn’t this imply they are selling and the minimum listed price has increased?

Don't mind StillKIA2.....he'll say or do anything to prove me wrong.

Sure, but it dies not say that the “$250 tickets” are selling. They are listed.

there were tons of unsold senior night tickets for $250, as well

The cheapest tickets in row 14 of BB did sell. Also a pair in section I that were listed for $166 each.

It's also worth noting that the same tickets are listed on multiple sites and if they sell there they'll be delisted on Stub Hub and vice versa.

Ticapnews said a pair sold at $166 each. So indeed you are not correct with your original contention when you said tickets between $80-250 aren’t selling if they are listed. In fact, they are selling as high as $166 per ticket. Who knows, maybe some go for more closer we get to the game.

What generally happens is that as we get closer to the event the price drops as people become desperate to sell. You can often get Bruins tickets for pennies on the dollar a few minutes before faceoff. Famously, tickets in the Loge section for the Game Seven comeback against Toronto were selling for $25. I still regret not jumping on that opportunity. For Saturday, the seats in BB row 5 were originally listed for $450 and are now $225. I would expect them to decrease substantially before Saturday. If you are in the market for tickets it is worth it to wait. For the Friday PC game a ticket in section D that had been listed for >$100 eventually sold for $7 the night of the game. However, the risk is that someone else will buy them first and no tickets will be available. That is especially true where there are so few listings (8 at the time of writing) which happened the Saturday night of the Providence series.

I actually thought UNH was the more physical team when they came to Orono earlier this year Chuck Murray Maine just withstood it then sliced them up in transition when they tried to keep it up

I don't think they will be a pushover either but I'm hoping the extra rest combined with crazy crowd if this matchup happens will be enough to withstand the early physicality.

With that said my picks for the opening round are:

UNH 4 Lowell 2
UConn 5 Vermont 3 this one I'm unsure of UConn either looks great or like horse crap
NU 3 Merrimack 2 OT

What about everyone else?

Always one upset: UML 4 UNH 3 O.T. -- UCONN 6 VERMONT 2 -- NU 5 MERR. 1

Thanks for sharing, Coach Cavanaugh.

No....Mr.Sour....your just feeling like the yester-years of the Gendron error(era)...hope you enjoy your misery....and your sitting there knowing full well the UNH Bus is heading to Maine this weekend...your just hoping to blast us all...better win tonight.....catch you later.

Interesting arrest at the Alfond Sunday morning. Reportedly the man was in the process of stealing items, dont know what he was after. Even crazier, reports say it was a UMass players father???
I’d prefer some solid facts on that before naming names as I’ve seen others do.
Not fair to the player…

Seeing as it is now in the news… others say he was in his car all weekend, even sleeping in it.
Sadly, sounds like some issues and if truly a players relative, sorry for the kid.

A Canadian man has been arrested in connection with an alleged burglary at the University of Maine Alfond Arena.

Police arrested 56-year-old Steven Vanroboys from Ontario a little before 8:30 Sunday morning.

University of Maine police chief William Flagg says an officer saw a vehicle parked near the Alfond arena that had been reported to them the previous day for suspicious activity near the building.

The officer investigated and found an unsecured door to the arena.

Flagg says the officer found vanroboys inside. Allegedly in the act of stealing various items.

Vanroboys is charged with felony burglary.

Congrats to Bradly for the All Rookie selection, feel bad for Josh. Arguably feel like he was more important to Maine's regular season success than Bradly, though when Bradly is right he's a clear game wrecker. Nice to see a Black Bear amidst the All BC Rookie team haha.

Yes Josh deserved the recognition...he is a total all around player then Bradley...he plays hard every shift and takes the punishment a smaller player is subjected to...he is more of a key to Maine's team in that he plays a 200' game...Bradley has his times where when he skates and back-checks he's a asset to the team...he hopefully will learn from this season...needing to get stronger and getting a edge attitude to his game...but both are talents that will only make Maine better.

I’m not making any predictions other than to say I would not be surprised if only one of the top four make it to the Garden.
That kind of year…

Of the teams Maine can face in the QF on Saturday, not sure who they'd want to play. A combined losing record against the four of them...

1-2 vs #6 New Hampshire
1-2 vs #7 Northeastern
2-1 vs #8 UConn
1-1 vs #9 Vermont

All games are on ESPN+ starting momentarily

What a weird and wild story. Wonder what he was trying to make off with?
