I believe it would reduce capacity in the upper bowl by 256 seats. At $20/seat/game that's about $92,000 in an 18 game season.
More like over 650.

The fun starts tonight. If Providence wins pressure mounts on Maine. They could lose a home ice game as a 5 seed if they back in. Providence loses tonight Maine clinches a home game with a win either Friday or Saturday. Maine can not go lower than 5th
I think the premium seat area is going to get a refresh as well which means they will go up on tickets again next year
A regulation loss for Providence tonight really opens the door for Maine. At that point, 2 points would do the trick to get them the 3 seed.

I think that entire end will be renovated and we'll see more premium seats added..
"Entire end" are you saying the box seats or referring to the gold seats on sides?
I havent seen anything in the master plan about this.
They need to be careful and not make going to games unaffordable for too many. Good way to sour a strong fan base.

You maybe right...as long as the product on the ice continues to improve and the year to year outlook is positive....can see donation seats going up...years ago they were from 1k, $750 & $500...as I stated before they went down by $200 awhile back...my concern on some of the seats...will they eliminate the obstructed view areas...areas you just see the top of the crease...one thing positive is the new scoreboard helps the fans in that area. If they continue to win/improve and recruit they will have no problems selling tickets. WINNING always is good for the cash flow...I use to have many season tickets...and at the end of the Whitehead and Gendron era, I couldn't give tickets away....times have changed...now that the outlook to the future looks a whole lot better then 3 years ago.
Agree. The bathrooms are dated, the hot water doesn't even work, the bar area is "meh" at best. I'm paying 4k a year now for my wife and I..if they want to go up fine, but it does need to be improved.
Club area? Crazy its not better, not that old, unless they did it on the cheap.
I'm talking the South end luxury box area. Maybe they won't touch anything in the box seating areas. I think that it is an opportunity wasted if they don't add a few seats and expand/modernize it a bit. I still would have preferred an entirely new arena......but the thought of that seem to drive many fans to the brink of insanity.
This is my second year up there, I think it was just done fairly cheaply during the down years but someone may know better.
Take anything we can get...but myself I need to see this team in a positive way against UMass...renewed confidence and tweak out the poor play since the break...win it out is what this team needs...go into the playoffs on a high note...not making excuses and saying the playoffs will be different.

Maybe this is a hot take, but I don't think they really played badly in any of their prior four games. Even the 4-0 loss, they deserved to lose to NU that night but they had 39 shots with some great chances and just couldn't finish, their shooting can't stay as cold as it was between that game and the first VT game forever, some positive regression to the mean will come.
The last time I think they truly played a bad game was in Durham.[/QUO
I hear your take and also your passion for the team..but I disagree, but my point on this is the team since coming back from the break has been, they have been flat...20 minutes of good hockey one game...30 minutes of good hockey in others but they have not played a complete game of 60 in a long long time...some to alot of this is the other teams have figured them out...stop or slow down there speed game...blanket them all over the ice...give them no room and take the body all night long...Maine just has not adjusted to it and if they don't jump out to a lead they are in trouble...they have a good team...but not complete in areas of adjusting....a learning process.
What do you get besides seats? For the 4 grand

I will let him give specific details, but I suspect food, alcohol, parking pass and possibly other benefits I don't know about.
