When the last home game is isn't up to the school; the schedule is set by Hockey East. This is also a weird year on the calendar...the Hockey East finals are usually St Patrick's Day weekend but this year are a week later. Shame really, since St Patty's in Boston is so much fun.

If women's basketball host the championship on Friday night and the hockey team plays Saturday night that would be a nice weekend.

Plenty of balcony seats available. (Not online…ya gotta go to the ticket office) I just got two and am willing to give away my two obstructed view seats

You should post them on the Maine hockey fans Facebook page. There are lots of people that look there for tickets.

Are they building a new basketball arena with Alfond money? If so, do they have drawings of that. The Pit is pretty unique.
 
This weekend is going to be interesting in how Maine reacts to the increased urgency in the team they will face. NCAAs wise, UMass needs to win to prevent becoming a risky bubble team. Poor showing this weekend and they become dangerously close to a “must win HE auto bid” to advance. Maine is pretty much in and not feeling the same pressure. It’s almost a “tough to end a teams season” scenario. Coaches hopefully have them prepped.

I think Maine will want the win to get 3rd and assure they are at home and have the highest chance of advancing to the hockey east finals by getting to play the sixth place team, which will likely be UNH. Maine lays an egg and they go on the road potentially if Providence beats Northeastern. Would be a terrible way to go down.
