NESN is def not carrying sat's Maine-Mack game and Ch 5 is def picking up the fri. but not the sat game. The only thing I'm not sure of is if there is a chance they(ch5) pick up the sun game. I think they did that 2 yrs ago against Lowell.

Of course thats if a sun game is even necessary.

Season ticket holders had the option of purchasing tickets for the HE quarterfinals with their original ticket order. Two years ago, I said no. When I purchased tickets for the quarterfinals, the ticket office tried to put me as close to my regular seats as possible (one row back, a couple seats to the right). This year, I guess they won't even do that.

I purchased quarter-final tickets along with my season ticket package. I have my same seats and they were sold at a discount.

Merrimack's downfall is committing too, many penalties, in my opinion.
Some games this is true...but can't hope for Penalty's to beat Merrimack...5x5 scoring will tell the tale of this series.

Who exactly is the CW? I'm thinking that is not avail on Time Warner?

it's wpxt - channel 12 on time warner in the portland area... typically games are shown on it's sister station wpme which is channel 17 in portland

Merrihack students get quite a deal to come up to Alfond.

For $20 they get a T-shirt, transportation, two nights in a hotel and game tickets. They must be desperate for fan support, but that's a great deal. Tickets alone are $19/night.

That's an amazing deal; I can't imagine that the bus won't be packed, if only for the sake of a nearly-free road trip, never mind the hockey.

Oh of course. Here in the Augusta area we get wpme on ch 3 and we also get WPXT on like ch 10 or 12. Thanks for the info. I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend as I'm prob not going up to Orono.

Did Big Ben get the call up to Ottawa? Know he started out at Binghamton after the trade. Also noticed Da Costa from the Mack was on Binghamton roster, man he was tough last year.

Yes, he did. The Senators play the Lightning.

So basically the school is subsidizing the students to act as fans in an away venue. ?? Thats interesting.

gosh, I would have looked at it a different way...

just like the government does not ever give ITS money to anyone... the school is not subsidizing the students... these kids are getting a little something unexpected for their $180,000 tuition

that said, I will betcha a nickel the good people at Fred C. Church Insurance are the ones footing the bill.

Just read an article on Bangor Daily News, Abbott has been named HE player of the year by College Hockey Weekly, as well as HE First Team with linemate Joey Diamond, shockingly Flynn wasn't chosen for first or second team.

As well Justin Schultz won Player of the year for WCHA and not Connolly.

Those are from College Hockey Weekly. I expect the WCHA to name Connolly the PotY to boost his Hobey chances.
