History has taught me and I have no expectations. I won't pick us to win the McNaughton until it's mathematically locked up. At this point, I do expect an NCAA tournament berth, but what happens after that is anyone's guess. I could see us getting bounced by any other team in the tournament in the first round or I could see us making a run.

I wanted to add that SCSU really made an adjustment to their forecheck that made a big difference against Bemidji State- so maybe they have ironed some of that out (trouble with trapping teams).

Actually thinking back on it, SCSU only had bad periods in Alaska, against NMU (played backup Reijola and Benik had that major penalty on a clean check) and hot goalies RPI (Kasdorf/Diebold) and NMU(Coreau). Otherwise they have been pretty consistent this year.

Minus a period or two against Denver away, New Hampshire away and North Dakota away we've been even or outshot opponents all year.

I appreciate the vote of confidence. But I don't think we are to that level yet. This weekend could change my mind.

Big, Big series between Miami and WMU this weekend.

I think the team that interests me most (besides the Gophers) on that list is the Q. I take it you think they're for real, not saying I agree or disagree.

I have never owned a snowmobile jacket and never will...I've never even been snowmobiling. I also grew up in Apple Valley until I was six (split time with parents) not that I claim affiliation with the city.

I almost wish I was sitting near the Dawg Pound this week just so I could hear the two old guys next to it chirp at the student section. They must have season tickets as they're always there when I've gone. Anyone know who I'm talking about?

Oh really? I thought everyone from St. Cloud exclusively wore snowmobile jackets.

It seems it's more so people from St. Joe that do. I cant recall the last time i have seen one of those jackets.

I was just trying to point out the absurdity of the stereotype. I'm sure there are people from St. Joe that wear snowmobile jackets and others that have never ridden a snowmobile/owned a snowmobile jacket in their life. Same with St. Cloud, Duluth, Minneapolis, Apple Valley, Eagan, Mankato, Grand Forks, et al.
